I would like to apologize to the Mylot community for my behavior

This community is for people to express their opinion. I did not realize that when someone asked for opinions what they were really wanted to hear was an opinion that was the same as theirs. I apologize if some times I intimidate you by being a very deep thinker. I apologize if my outspoken behavior is considered impolite or rude. I'm sorry that you feel the way you do, but you have the right to think that way. Please feel free to call me names, tell me to shut up and attack me if it makes you feel better. Feel free to put words in my mouth and twist my opinion to make it sound like I was attacking you. Please feel free to start a discussion, not be specific and be critical when I respond to something that was way over your head. I'm sorry if you can not understand that I have just as much right to express my opinion as you do yours. I am sorry that my opinions may differ from yours and I hope you'll see that I believe you have the right to your opinion, and the right to express that opinion. My opinion is just that, my opinion. I'm sorry that you have to deal with me and I'm sorry that I offered my opinion in an open discussion and it was not what you wanted to hear. I'm sorry that I judged you when you made it so easily for yourself to be judged when you share something about yourself that was so personal. I'm sorry that you could not accept an honest opinion when you asked for advice. I’m sorry you blew one of my opinions way out of proportion, got defensive and insecure and felt I was attacking you. I'm sorry I failed to make you happy by saying just what you wanted to hear and stroking your ego. Perhaps you could help me be a better person by telling me what you would like me to say. I'm sorry for you inability to handle a conversation without name calling. I'm sorry that you infringe on copyright and your discussion got deleted. I'm sorry you find me sarcastic. Me, sarcastic? Nahhhh, would never happen. OK maybe I'm a little sarcastic. Silly me! so let me slap my head for this post. Anyway, I just want to apologize for being an intelligent, outspoken woman with opinions and beliefs that might differ from yours. I thank you for attacking me, telling me to shut up and calling me names. I'm glad there are people like you in this world to set me straight and become a better person. I should try to be more like you.

That's funny. I asume you were being sarcastic...I know how you feel. I think they are called discussions to get different opinions, or else they'd just be called things you should think, sometimes people get a little passionate about what they think, but just ignore it....Believe what you want and dont be afraid to voice your opinion. =)

I can debate with the best of them and I too get passionate about what I believe in, but I think some people take it to the extremes here. lol

I don't know what brought this rant on, but thanks. I've felt like writing pretty much the same thing, and then decided, ah, the heck with it, it's not worth my time. My favorites are the complainers who aren't being paid what they think they're worth by some site that they write for. What they want is sympathy and agreement that they're not being treated fairly. What they definitely don't want is to hear that maybe they need to improve their writing skills. So many sites pay for semi-literate trash that it just encourages people to think they're good writers and don't need to learn anything. Okay--that's *my* rant. :-)

Well being a writer myself, I look over some of the articles that I wrote when I first started freelancing & I think my goodness did a website actually publish that. lol I have written them and asked them to remove it, so I could revise it. I don't believe anyone is actually a bad writer. I just think like everything in life it is a learning process and it really helps if you have those who are supportive and willing to assist you. I have never believed in belittling writers. Thanks for your reply and allowing me to discuss another issue. I respect your views. :)

I don't think that suggesting someone needs to work on their writing skills is belittling them. You probably didn't mean it exactly that way, I hope. But I'm afraid there are very bad writers out there, and some of them will never get any better. They don't think they have any need to improve, and they don't read enough to have a feel for language or to develop the vocabulary they need. We can take classes, study good reading and see what makes it good, and we can accept honest critiques--or we can stay right where we are and just keep complaining.

Oh no! I did not mean it that way. I don't pretend to know everything and though I run a writing community; I'm still learning. One of my own members once submitted an article to me that had a few spelling and grammar errors. He and I worked together to improve the errors in his article. However, while there are those writers who are honest and will give you advice to help you improve your writing, there are others who enjoy humiliating people to make them feel better about themselves.

Swtrose, from the bottom of my heart I do so thank you, Every word you typed was taken from my heart, and I admire your courage and ability to to do so. Of course you are absolutely right, and of course you are going to be called all sorts of thing as you are not being "NICE" that words comes up a lot when people are defending stupid don't you think? I have found and I would like you opinion on this that some people just write with out any thought about what they are saying, and then some one like you or I come along and pick up on this, we are supposed to know what they really meant, Sorry I can not read minds, nor tell lies. So speaking for my self may I ask that you continue in you own way of seeing and doing. I do so welcome the company. While your eloquence out does mine by a village mile I am going to save this post as a reference to answer any future blasts and you hurt my feelings post, with your permission of course, Regards Robin

During my days as a fortune teller (it was a way to make a living), I learned that there were types of clients. There were those who really wanted to hear the truth, and those who wanted you to tell them what they wanted to hear and nothing else. Towards the end of my time as a fortune teller, I got to the point where if they were in latter, I would just ask them what decision they had made that they wanted me to agree with. And that is why I am no longer a fortune teller.

Yeah, the school sends out a lot of students out into the world to confuse other people. ;) One of the most learned people I know still posts messages on Yahoo that you have to guess what the proper spelling was, and figure out missing words. My latest theory about it is that our brain works faster than we can type.

its not your fault that you are very opinionated, if people cant handle it then its their problem. Say what you have to say, because nobody can control what comes out of your mouth.

Wow, sounds like you had some problems. I usually just ignore those type of people or another thing i do is. when someone says something to make me feel bad. My response is "Why thank you for that nice response" Most people cannot figure that one out. Thats all i say and they never hear from me again lol. I find it quite amusing lol. I'm sure whoever said what to you doesn't know you well. Keep up the good work :)
