Do you use the thumbs up and thumbs down tools?

I always do, but unless it is an extremely controversial topic (Evolution, racism), or the answer is really good or bad, most answers don't have any ratings.

i usually give them a thumbsup whenever i'm happy with their response and i rarely give a thumbsdown lol

I use them mostly when reading answers to my questions so that when I go back I can see what ones I liked, and ignore the ones I didn't. It also makes selecting a best answer much easier. I don't always use them on other people's questions, but I do sometimes.
