Why do people get so uptight about discussions being put up

I think that too many people will quickly react and get upset if they find a discussion that "hits too close to home". If a topic is touchy it tends to get angry and sometimes violent responses. Most people don't take the time to think when responding to these; they simply react.

i think some people are just angry and therefore go looking for an excuse to display and express their anger. They get uptight about discussions on here because it serves as an outlet because there are no legitimaste outlets for their anger, they deserve pitty not condemnation blessed be

LOL I'll never understand it myself...I mean with as many active members that tehre are here at MyLot its only NATURAL for there to be discussions that some wont care for..for anyone to think that EVERY discussion will be something they'll approve of or be interested in is just stupid as far as I'm concerned LOL BUT ppl NEED to have something to p!ss and moan about whether it makes sense or is a valid thing to whine about or not ya know ;-)

i have never experienced such things here in mylot but if what your saying is true than yes as you said people have to lighten up as all set and done these are discussions and we are here to exchange our views

i get your point and yes a lot of member are like that. maybe they drink a lot of coffee...lol. yes i saw your discussion about kids, and yes kid is a baby goat... well i call mine joey so they are baby kangaroos lol. there are members who are really so serious they need to smile once in a while.

I agree with you 100%, people need to relex and come to terms with this site for what it is. It's a forum where you can post whatever you want and make some extra money and that's it. Calm down people, if you don't like a specific discussion then don't respond to it. :-)

I don't know why alot of members get uptight over some of the discussions that are posted here. I just skip over the ones I do not wish to respond to instead of making a big deal about it. Everyone has a right to put up their discussions but we do not need to be negative to them about it.

I've got to agree with you, although I suppose some can be abusive and I've even seen some racially motivated ones too, which I guess everyone would get angry at. Also some people are really passionate about some things in life and if a response/discussion is something they actually beleive then that could cause friction too. Some people say offensive things. I agree that some people take it over the top, but still. If someone writes something that is rude, I'll say what I think of it.
