THIRTY years ago this week Star Wars blasted on to cinema screens around the globe – and became an instant hit.
After three decades and five further instalments, Star Wars’ appeal shows no sign of abating.
To date the all-action film franchise has grossed more than £10bn worldwide.
That figure can only rise as Star Wars fanatics splash out on recently released 30th anniversary memorabilia.
To mark the occasion we’ve put together a ‘30 Years of Star Wars’ quiz.

Great quiz. I only got about 1/4. pyewacket did so well he deserves 'best response' anyway. Cor, when I started typing the response it jumbled up all the questions.
If the last one isn't U2 is it The Corrs.
I coudn't remember the planet with the teddies then there was another question with Endor in it and I thought, oh yes that was their planet. Is the junk food a hamburger - looks like one (or perhaps the box) to me. I thought it might have only been 3 beams of light on the deathstar but I expect he knows better than me. In case I got all of those incorrect, the sword-like weapon is a light sabre.
