Do you ever get a french fry attack?

Unfortunately I live within walking distance of at least two places where I can get some excellent french fries. Of course since I'm always watching my weight and trying to be nice to my skin I try to stay away from them but there are times when I'll sit here and almost obsess about a big plate of them. About half an hour ago I had to walk to the store for milk and two doors down from the store is one of the shops where I can get great fries. I was good and only got a small order to go and needless to say here I sit plate under my monitor, ketchup on one side of the plate and ranch dressing on the other and enjoying every bite. Does anyone else get the "french fry attacks"? If so is there a place near you where you can go to on the spur of the moment and get some? If you don't like french fries is there something else that will hit you all of a sudden and you have to have?

No, I don't get French fry attacks but my daughter does. She's 21 now but her first words were 'fren fry' and to this day she still gets those 'attacks' she can't go a week without them.

I think most kids started out with the "fren fry" word don't you? I think these attacks will be with us forever once we get them.

Would you believe I didn't even know KFC had french fries? I've never had anything but their mashed potatoes and have been happy with those.

They may call theirs chips I get them all mixed up but they have a nice flavour as someone said they either cook theirs in the oil used for their chicken ot maybe even use chicken salt but they have a different flavour to them...

I share your sentiments. I live in a place where it's just 20-30 minutes walk to a mall and less than that time to get to a fast food joint. So I always have to curb my french fry attack at all times, because temptation is soo great. Just this morning I had another craving, so instead of a regular breakfast I went to the fast food place and ordered fries, lots of lots of it!

Actually I do get a french fries attack once in a while and like to make my own french fries as they taste better than store bought. However, sometimes I will go to McDonald's and get a bag of french fries with a soda as a snack.

Yes, they make a wonderful mid afternoon snack don't they? Sometimes their just the thing to keep me away from over indulging before dinner time.

I'm an awful person for food cravings. I rarely get cravings for savoury foods, but I always do for chocolate. I blame my spotty forehead on all the chocolate I have been eating recently! I think its because it makes me happy to eat it. I get a real kick from it. Before I came to uni, I wasn't really a chocolate person. Now I'm a chocoholic. BAD UNI. x

I agree it's obviously UNI's fault...lol...fries will do a job on your complexion and we have to remember that before indulging don't we?

I used to love fries but stopped eating them about a year ago. I stopped eating deep fried foods and junk food. Now, I crave fruit smoothies and healthy cookies and baked chips with salsa.

I like fries but I don't crave for them. I am a sucker for ice-cream. Everytime we go to the mall or to the grocery store, I crave for icecream especially "cheesecake" ice-cream. Speaking about ice-cream, i am sitting here eating a rock road that we bought from the grocery store earlier on today LOL

Well, I had my granddaughter here last week and my french fry supply has been long gone. I definitely need to replenish this week.
