Is it alright for you if your boyfriend/husband goes to a strip club?

It almost ruined our relationship because imagining him in there kills me. Everytime I remember that I get upset. What do you think?

I wouldnt like it, but that is because I have insecurities about myself, not because I'd be thinking he was up to anything. Does he do it a lot? Have you talked about it, does he realise how upset it makes you? Communication is so important in a relationship, and most things can be sorted out if we talk about it. How would he feel if you went to a strip club, would he like it? Whats good for one is good for the other!

he just did it once and he told me he's never gonna go again ever. But I still feel upset when I remember what he did. Because he didn't even bother to tell me first.

If he's only done it the once and says he never will again, you have to let it go and try and put it behind you otherwise it will destroy your relationship.

I would not mind if my partner wanted to go to a strip club. I do not mind if he wanted to look at other women, as long as I know he loves me - and noone else. I do understand though, that you feel upset by it. people are different, and I really can see why it might be upsetting. I hope you and your partner have talked about it. I hope he respected your feelings on this and do not go there anymore. I feel the most important thing in a relationship is respect. The two people involved should respect eachothers feelings, values, morals, and boundaries.
