I would much rather exercise than cut down on food. I feel better and sleep better when I exercise, adn I love my food so I never like giving that up.

hi there, i think u dont have to cut down on ur food, eat small portions when hungry an remember to take ur time to chew. Exercise plays a major part in evryones life..U don have to sweat it out...jus take regular walks it will make u fit and healthy....

I am not a big excersiser either I mostly cut back on snacks and a lot of carbs. Like tonight I ate a pork chop with mix vegtables. I need to walk though and drink a lot of water.

I like exercising. Why do you want to cut down on your food to reduce the weight? If you are very obese, then I do agree that you need to fast for some days. But otherwise exercises done regularly can burn off your fat very fast than any other mode.

*laughs* I personally don't like to exercise that much especially after a tiring hard day at work, I would just want to sit there day dreaming and do nothing. I would cut down my food intake if I feel the need to lose some weight. But it's not like I would skip meals or not eat anything. I would use oatmeal or non-fatening cereals to substitute a meal in a day and for other meals, I would just eat normal stuff. I hate to feel like I am starved and I don't think it's very good for the stomach to skip meals. So far, I think my method is quite effective!

I do not hate exercising but then I am very lazy when it comes to that. Probably because I hate the feeling of being sweaty and sticky so I tend not to exercise. Therefore my only option is to cut down on my food intake. Though it is sometimes hard to hold back the urge to eat, it is the only thing that I think I can do to at least control my weight.

lot of people find difficult in controling their tounge those people find more exercises and those who are not slaves to ur tounge will find it easy to cut down food.i think instead of going for reducing food it will be better for fit and health to eat more fibre foods ,raw veg, fruits, sprouted beans etc this will help them to reduce the weight and keep fit .but one should be patient. those people who find exercises boring can do sports which will be fun also.

Food is an essential content of life. I guess, just cutting down on food doesn't help. To remain physically fit, one needs to have a balanced intake of proper food. At the same time, if one is able to exercise, it adds to good effects of the food. Further, it enhances one's food intake as well. Exercise is probably the best way to stay in shape. I prefer exercise.

There are some excellent diet and weight loss plans available like Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc., that also provide nutrition counseling and group support (essential for weight loss.) But, the trick is to stay with the programs even after you've taken off the weight.Permanant weight loss requires a daily effort. It's not something that you can simply do and then go back to eating junk food.
