does education makes people better ??
i agree with that.. i think the most important thing, it educates us is about humanity
i've just realized it a few hours ago
the matters happened here in my family
some from my family members are being egoists and hurts the others
my mom experienced it years ago and it still affects her till now..
i don't think it's good for me to write the whole story here since me myself feel uncomfortable too

Education does NOT make people better. It equips them with the theoretical tools in a specialised field to make them better at their chosen profession. To say someone is better than anyone else because they have an undergraduate, postgraduate or doctorate degree is naive. I know many people who have those qualifications and they don't go around thinking they are better than others. I work with highly qualified IT guys and my boss is a director with just an undergraduate degree. He is wary about employing people with doctorates as he feels they can't justify why they studied for so many years - often it's because they haven't got the social skills to face the real world so they just carry on studying. That's not to say all PhD holders are the same but don't go around thinking a person is better because they hold multiple qualifications. I recruit staff for my company and pitching someone who holds a first class degree with no work experience against someone who has 5 years work experience usually means the person with the actual work experience is going to win hands down in getting the job!

no education cant make a better person. Its just a way of adjusting urself in society and making urself capable of earning to run ur life
A better man is made by the environment in which he lives.

yes, definitely... education makes people smarter and teach people about morale and ethics which they won't have them if they are uneducated... i really feel that education is the best asset that you can have because once you have knowledge inside your brain, nobody can steal it away from you... and education definitely can guarantee you a better quality of life...

education doesn't always necessary mean the things that you learn at school. while it can give you a lot of knowledge, it doesn't mean that it makes you better. there are many factors that determine the measure of a person and education is but a small part of it. and lastly, education doesn't determine a person's attitude

Education cannot be considered as the primary factor for making a person better. The lessons from life experience when it work well with the persons intelligence shapes one's behavior. A person who behave better and wise can be called a better person.

personally i think it does, as i have also observed with the people around me, those less educated people tend to be more emotional and based every situations with what they feel but if you have better understaning then you will be able to evaluate every actions and not be dictated with anger.
with education comes wisdom, confidence and humility. i hope this applies to most people but not with arrogant and cruelness to the less educated people.

I don't think that education makes people better. It really depends on what they do with the education. I have met some people with degrees that could tell you how something should work but did not have a clue as to how to get it done physically. Some book smart people have no common sense at all.
However, I think education in the form of higher education or the school of hard knocks will create a better person in that it shows them the differences that are in the world. We all have to adapt to our surrounding and some form of schooling will help with that.
Unfortunately, in todays society, if you do not have a college degree there are many jobs you will not even be considered for. I would highly suggest to anyone that has the chance to go on to/back to college and further their education as education is something that can never be taken away.

I agree that education makes people better. Otherwise why we have to have education:) I think education makes people polite, understanding, tell the right and wrong. With some education, it'll be easier to find a job. Then at least people won't take a risk to do some crimes to get money.
