my husbands truck was stolen and we didn't have theft insurance because we really didnt think anyone would want it. it REALLY sucks. i wish idiots who steal cars would realize how inconsiderate it is. we have a baby and my husbands truck was his trasportation to work. it is really difficult. so frustrating!

It is the most frustrating thing isn't it. I had three car seats in there so the idiot who took it knew it belonged to a family.

Thank heaven,NO.I do worry about it all the time though. Not that my car is all that special, but it is new.I'm more worried about someone taking it for a joyride than stripping it down.Either way I'd be totally freaked.

Luckily the idiot that took only took it for a joyride and didn't strip it down.

My husbands car was stolen a few months before we got married. It was the middle of the night and he had heard noises outside, so he got up to check out what it was and His car was gone. He called the police immediately. The cops found the car left abandoned at a near park down the road from his house. Apparently, the theives wanted his sound system, because it was completely tore out and gone. They never caught them either. Of course we have a new car now and we make sure that the alarm is set on it.

Our car was stolen, but it is a funny story. we went down to my parents house, and my husband and his friend stayed at a motel, he told his friend if he got up early not to wake him and he could take the car and go for breakfast. well the next morning they got up and walked out to the car, it was gone, my husband said to his friend okay where did you put it ( his friend is a big practical joker) Dave said he didn't touch it, my husband didn't believe him. Anyway they called the police and where the car had been parked there was a duffle bag ,, the kid left his bag with his parole papers in it , they new exactly who he was . The car turned up in New Brunswick Canada which is about 13 hours aways. The police officer said they saw the car going through a ditch, down a hill, across a field and through a farmers fence, the car was totaled. We also had our vehicles broken into . It really makes you mad when someone does something like this, you work soo hard for your stuff and someone just waltzes in and takes it. Sorry my story is so long
