You're a pseudo-vegetarian. You're not completely vegetarian because you still eat fish. "Some people consider themselves *semi-vegetarians* and eat fish and maybe a small amount of poultry as part of a diet that's primarily made up of vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, seeds, and nuts. A *pesci-vegetarian* eats fish, but not poultry." (from kidshealth.org)

I was not born a vegan and until know I still eat meat. Something has happened in my life however that is making me think of becoming a vegan. I now live in a house where the lady of the house eats only pork meat every single day. I used to enjoy pork but I am honestly growing very sick of it. I try to make my own raw salad so that I don't have to suffer the daily meat rations. I haven't eaten a lot of meat lately and I am slowly gravitating towards veggies. I feel better every time I eat veggies and my digestion is always better too.

Once you get rid of meat, after a while you stop wanting it altogether. My dad's a total carnivore, but he's been on a vegan diet for a while now, and he craves meat less and less. He even passed up the option the other day to cook meaty enchiladas and cooked all-vegan ones instead! Omg, *only* pork all the time?? That's amazing, in a gross way. What's the story on that one? What does she cook? Is there any variety? That reminds me, when my dad cooks meat, the whole house smells of it. It grosses me out most times. Unless it's chorizo, which pretty much just smells like mexican spices.

Yes, it's terrible the way the lady of the house eats and cooks meat every day. She has eaten meat since she was a toddler and is still at it today. I guess her parents never introduced any other type of food so she has probably gown used to pork meat. Her favorite is roast or grilled pork. She really goes out of her way to buy and cook pork this way which is not a cheap kind of preparation at all. If she can't have meat cooked this way, she mixes meat with vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and pepper seeds and lets the meat boil in the sauce and then fries it with oil. If she can't have this dish she'll just basically cook pork in any way possible to avoid having to eat veggies or fish. I used to enjoy pork but having it everyday.... ugh.....

What is it with all these names for pretend vegetarians. To be a pure vegetarian means you eat no animal products at all. That is what I am as I couldn't live with my conscience if I wasn't.

I am vegetarian, or the kind that eats no meat but does allow dairy products (I forget the name), and am transitioning into veganism as I learn how to cook with tofu, try out various vegan mock meats and such, find out which brands of soy milk and other dairy alernatives I like and dislike, and learn the vegan lifestyle. I am also heavily into organics. I eat organic as much as possible. I come from a family that is heavily into meat and dairy, and who doesn't listen to a word I say. They won't even acknowledge my new-found eating habits. So, I am having to learn all this stuff on my own. And, I must say, it is a lot to learn!

Hi! I cannot say that I'm a vegan, however I like vegetables more than meat.. as I know meat burns in our body slower than vegetables.. and I also wanted to lose weight thats why I'm up to vegetable, and fish.. that's why I can't say that I'm a pure vegan since I love fish..XD lol.. I know being a vegan contributes good health in our body.. hope I can still work out on my diet.. lol
