where did you spend your vacation with family

we usually have our annual family reunion so we took that time out also to have our vacation with the whole family, anyways the reunion is only for a whole day with one of the resorts here in our country.
This year we went to Baguio City( again?), well we got back there bec. its the summer capital in phils, and I want my elementary grader kids to learn about the place, then we went to manila and visit some historical places there.
yearly we had a vacation with learnings.... how about you and your family please share... thanks

same as you we too usually have family reunion with a ceremony in our temple in our native place as many members of our family stay in different places.They all come to the ceremony on the whole with the arrangement of travels.we will be having the ceremony for three days along with the food arrangements on the whole.it is a village with beach.so we enjoy meeting all those relatives and chat a lot.Then we will hangover to the beach and some good places and have lots of fun.i came back yesterday only.i have enjoyed a lot.

Every christams my family spend it at my parents home in Albany, WA Australia. The kids all get together to play..
One day Id like us to travel interstate to spend it with my brother, he is in the Airforce and hasnt been able tocome home to see us for 4 years, so that would be great to see him, his family and see another state.

i come from baguio city!:) and i know for a fact that it's a wonderful place, hhehehehehe (of course! i'm being biased.)
for our family vacation, we went a nearby beach resort in Bauang, La Union. That's a 2-hour drive from baguio. we love going to the beach, especially during summer. the young ones love frolicking in the water so much that their mothers have a hard time calling on them to eat, LOL!
we are all looking forward to the next summer so we could spend some of it at the beach.
