I felt so uncomfotable this morning when I waked up. Sime thing is wrong with my neck. I began to realize that I got a sniff neck. I can not move my head smoothly all the day, I'm afraid it will last for one or two days. :(

I agree with one of your other responders. I have stiff necks quite often due to having problems with my neck years ago. Having a hot shower and directing it onto the affected area can bring some relief. Most stiff necks take about three days to go completely although I've had one for over a week now, but put it down to the problems I've had in the past. In future avoid sleeping near an open window and i've found that having both windows open in a car can also cause problems. Hope you are ok now.

Thank you, I'm fine now. It should be caused by the position when I slept. my bed is far from open window. Thanks a lot.

Windhair I commonly get stiff necks. For me a hot shower can usually get rid of it. When that's not enough I use a heat wrap. Next time it happens try one of these suggestions so you don't have to keep it all day. My third suggestion is taking ibuprofen. Between the 3 I always feel better, even if I need to use all 3 methods.

Occasionally it’s normal to get stiff neck. It could be of several reasons. One of them could be due to improper sleeping positions or the problem of the pillow. To have a stiff neck is really a torture which might unluckily last for few days. From my experience the best treatment is to have some proper massaging and sufficient rest.

Sleep without a pillow, the sniff neck will disappear next morning.
