Wow, I got my federal tax return...

$2 is all? Is that due to how much you had to pay in from your online Business stuff or what? We would have gotten ours by now, except for I goofed and left something off for ours to go Direct Deposit. We should be getting ours though by the end of the week though. A lot of it will be going on bills though, and then if we have any left over, who knows. I know it is getting harder and harder to make ends meet. And I have been sick with this Cold and such, and even have had to take some time off of work, so I know we can use the $$ right now.

It amazes me that people get excited as well as angry and hurt when they receive a check that is actually their own money, just less of it. I quit paying taxes years ago. Once I sat down and studied the tax codes (key word=CODES)not laws. I saw where I was doing the wrong thing so I decided I would stop "volunteering" to give up my money to the wealthy investors/owners of the Federal Reserve Banks. By the way thet check is NOT from Uncle Sam....Take a closser look at it. It has nothing to do with the USA government. Be thankful they didn't ask for more. Enjoy the Ice Cream

LOL $2 really! Our taxes went to the department of education on an offset I have on my name that I am trying to get rid off, but it is taking too long to do. You're lucky you got the $2

Our income tax return came just in the nick of time to save our butts. My husband is Air force Reserves and they messed up his paperwork and so his pay was like a month behind. That $700 total went completely to bills. Now we got that problem again. Once my husband leaves for his deployment overseas the money will be coming on every 1st and 15th because he's activated. Then maybe I'll be able to breath again. We were luck to be just under the tax bracket to get all that and now I hope that other tax break will come in time for it to go towards our down payment on a house. We pay such high rent that the house won't be anymore expensive then what we have now.

Wow! Now that one is one to write home about! LOL. It makes you wonder how much money they spent in figuring it out, paying their employees, cutting the check, and then sending it out to you! But it is exciting you didn't have to pay any back, isn't it? Come to think of it...ours was less than $50 I think.
