And if so do you call them by there nick names or just there names. I love calling my kids by there nick names. And they like it too as a matter of fact my older 3 will tell people call me _____. I think its so cute how about you?

Ha.:) My son is Bugg. He's five, and also goes by Monster, small demon child, etc etc. LOL But mostly, he's Bugg. Although anyone who tries to call him anything other than his name (outside of immediate family) he stiffly tells them, NO! My name is Daemon. And he'll make you repeat it until you get it right.

Yes I give my kids a nickname of endearment. Its my way way of showing love by their names. I love it when my kids starting to ask me why I am calling their in that names and howe I came up of that names. They would say Im in a mood when I caoll them in their nickname and when Im mad at them, I call them by their names.

I never thought I would end up with little shorter names or nicknames for my kids. I always wondered where people came up with some of them. But I often call my daughter Kaitlen..KaityCoo and my son Derek...."D". So, they aren't that unusal but I they like them.

My nick name is Weezy, I am Jannie Lousie and I came up with Weezy. My children do not have nick names, I use to call our daughter Poo bear like winnie the pooch. Now at 29 she does not like it. Our son does not have a nick name. We tried some out on him and he did not like any of them.

My son's name is Elliott Michael. My brother calls him Mikey, or Abbott (when I was pregnant, we picked the name Abigail for a girl, and Elliott for a boy, so it got ran together as Abbott before he was born). We call him Elliott most of the time, but we use Bubba Boo sometimes, too.

I only have one son. He's Michael, named after his father. We call him Mikey, but it already gets confusing if some one asks me how Michael is because I'm never sure if they mean Mikey or Mike(my husband). One of our friends refers to him as MJ, which I think is kind of cute and I'll probably start calling him that when he gets a little older. Or once I get sick of " See, Mikey likes it" references!

It does! And people sugest to me to call him by his middle name, but his middle name is Rodrigues, which was my maiden name. I backed my self into a corner because I can't call him MR. and M-Rod just doesn't sound right lol!

Mine little girl's nickname is just plain Sweetheart. Or, sweetie! I'm from the south so everyone down here is "sweetie, this" or "sweetie that". And, that used to be what I called my husband, so sometimes when I'm talking to my daughter, he'll answer. It gets thing kind of confused sometimes.
Most days she's my sweetheart, but when I'm trying to get her to do something good, like pick up her toys, I call her "My little buddy." Or, if she does something naughty, I'll say, "Come on be Mommy's little buddy!"
Now, she's turning it back on me. When she wants something and I won't let her have it, she'll say, "But, I'm your little buddy!"
Clever kid!

My oldest is just Jason, his father used to call him bonehead (he might still, I don't know...)
My youngest has been Goo and/or Goob since he was a baby. He's 21 and he can't get me to stop calling him that. I just have to make sure I never say it around any of his Navy buddies...

Oh, yes. We used to call my youngest son, Elijah, a couple different names-Tooter, because he loved a little toy horn, and Lovin. We used (I still do, sometimes)to call my son, Josh, joycie, coz my granny couldn't pronounce his name right, and I started calling him that for fun. My husband tried to call him that once, and Josh said, nobody but mom, and Grandma can call me that. lol My son, Jamey, I called him Shamey, still do, he earned that name, for sure. They're all grown, by the way.
