No it is not enough to get rich on either. But it adds up. I earn on a lot of different sites and every little bit adds up to more in the end. I enjoy the entertainment here also and learning about new sites to earn on.

The first time I've ever had cheese that smells like feet was in IL while I was drunk, on a dare.
The second time was the next morning in Wisconsin on our way to watch 4th of July fireworks. This time it was in a sandwich served with spicy mustard and onions.
It killed me both times.

Hi Jackbravo,
What is the relationship between feet and electricity? LOL.

Well, no way myLot would pay my electric bill but in the months I've been here it has covered my internet connection and a little left over for McDonalds... I am grateful for that.

Good for you, byfaithonly. I'll think of McDonalds after getting my earning :-)

Hi :
I know what you mean.
But I think mylot is one of the best medium to attract traffic to my blog.
I guess you have to take full advantage of every opportunity that you come across.
Yours Truly,
Tony Chai

You had me thinking there for a second buddy! :D lol
Anyways I don't think that it would be enough to pay for the electricity expenses. On the other hand you could multitask while posting in mylot. Also there's nothing wrong if you enjoy posting and being able to help other people while at the smae time earning.

Ahahah (laugh hysterically)
That would have to be the best question on myLot.
I never thought of it that way. (laugh again)
So... Are we all suckers?
I think we are...
Meanwhile... myLot is becoming multi-millionaire.
Just go to show that deception pays.
Try to have a legit business on the Internet and you'll go bankrupt. Sell some hot air... and you become millionaire. That should tell you something about the people on this planet.

Hello, friendship,it is a good question,if someone are on mylot for money only, they may have to concern about the electricity they use everyday,it may not be 'profitable 'for them. As i know, computer or laptop will not consume much electricity even you switch it on for the whole day,but if the lights are on when you are 'working'on mylot, the amount of electricity counts to your bill every month, may be t is better to use the energy saving eletric bulbs then.:P

There's a site that let's you calculate the cost of operating various appliances, including computers. It's at http://michaelbluejay.com/electricity/howmuch.htm . I think you have to press the link that says "finding out how much electricity something uses" in order to get the calculator in operating mode. Once you do that it gives you the cost everytime you change one of the parameters. If you're using a computer with a 17" CRT monitor, and you're on myLot for an hour a day for a month, your monthly cost with be about 70 cents if you pay the U.S. national averate of 9.8 cents per kilowatt hour. So if you can generate more than 3 cents per hour income, you'd come out ahead :-)

You are wasting your time if you are here for the money. It takes a lot of time and effort to actually earn anything like a decent amount. Just enjoy the community and discussions. Treat any money you get as a nice bonus.

I do not know how much energy my computer uses. I take a guess: about 500 watts an hour? It is very hard to make up the cost of energy and the cost for the internet provider by earnings on the internet. But: I got so many helpful hints here just reading at mylot how I can save money, make money or how I can do things more efficiently that it is well worth the time and energy.

I agree, it won't cover the electric bill but even without it we'd still be on the internet doing this somewhere, right? It's nice to get the incentives, even if the earnings are not going to cover our cost to be here.

the earnings will NEVER cover the electricity bills. this can be a turn off if you are in MyLot to earn as oppose to being in a community discussing everything under the sun and get a little in return.
its your priority actually. don't hope to be buying stuff really soon with the earnings.

Wont pay my electricity but as others have said I do multitask several sites at a time and earn some from each it gives me some extra $$$ do do other things. I would be on the internet anyhow wether in Mylot or not. And I think I would be here even if they didnt pay I realy enjoy the friends I have made here and the fun posts.

No, it probably won't cover the cost of my electricity but I think that I enjoy being here too much to care if it pays the bill or not. I could be sitting watching tv and using electricity but I wouldn't be making any money that way. at least here I am rewarded for the work that I do,even in a small amount.

Well I don't know about covering the electric bill, but the friends, and the discussions that are brought about in this forum is priceless. I guess it just depends on how you look at it.
