Carl Perkins version is way better, it has more feeling & a great double bass. & just for the record Perkins did it before Elvis & here he is in person :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ls-NHjKmc4U

Since I am more of the Elvis era and a big Elvis fan, I have to vote ELVIS! Carl Perkins was a great artist also!

I'd have to say Elvis Presley. I didn't know the other guy's name, which I guess like you said is Carl Perkins. Elvis just brought verve to a song, no matter what it was.

I would have to vote for Elvis Presley. I listened to all the songs he sang and he just did something to bring a song to life. He did the best version of Blue Suede Shoes. That was his song and no one could sing it like he did. As in all his songs he put his whole heart and soul into a song when he sang it.

I would have to choose Elvis because I think he is an excellent singer. I just watched the Carl Perkins version and I liked that one also.
