do u celebrate on your birthday? i used to celebrate on my birth day. but this year i wasn't celebrating as my father and mother were away from me. i turned 17 last month and i never hesitate to celebrate my birthday. some of my friends don't like to celebrate there birthday. its not that they dont have the money to invest on celebration but only that they dont like celebrating.

yup. sonokuldep. better than throwing huge parties. a small dinner with people you really are close to. but i just do it at home unlike randy. hehe. and most of the time, it's me who cook for them.

Belated happy birthday for last month! I don't bother much with birthdays now, I've just had my 36th and for me it's just another year closer to my tomb as it were! I do get the cards and gifts and have a meal out to celebrate with friends and get calls and texts, I have a close family so I am lucky in that respect, but it's not the same when you get older, so enjoy!

Happy late 17th birthday sonukuldeep. I love to celebrate birthdays. I try to make everyones birthday special. To me a birthday is that one special day that everyone has. I still celebrate my birthday even though I am going to be 46 next month. We usually have family over and play games, open presents, have cake and go swimming, for our summer birthdays. My son will be turning 16 next month. I make his birthday very special for him. Every year he look forward to his birthday.

I think as you're still quite young you'll want to celebrate your birthday, but as you get older you'll be loath to do so because you'll be reminded of just how old you are. You'll notice all the little whipper snappers around you with not a care in the world, and before you know it you'll be the one saying 'in my day we didn't do that' etc. So, lol, you probably won't be celebrating much from here on. However, your 18th and 21st have both gotta be celebrated, if the others aren't. It's like a law.

hey dazeylaze i dont know how old u are but i do know is that with each birthday of mine i feel younger. i never say i am 17 years old it 17 years young. thanks for responding god bless

Lol, well good for you, I say. I wish I could share in your youthfulness. I'm 21 and I know that's not that old, but it is in my eyes. It means now I am truly an adult and whatever mistakes I make nobody can put it down to my age. Once you get to a certain age you'll have all these responsibilites and you won't know what to do with them. But, I think your attitude to growing older is a good one. Because I guess you're only as old as you feel. I can get away with looking like a 15 year old at least, and that suits me just fine, sometimes. Good on you, anyway. I could probably learn a thing or two from you, lol.

I like parties, but I don't like to be a host of the party. I don't feel a need to celebrate my birthday, but my friends don't like it, or maybe don't understand it:) and sometimes I make miniparty for few best friends. I'm 25 years old now.

I never like to make a fuss about my birthday, but I have four adult daughters, grandkids, and greats now. They will inevitably show up to bring gifts and usually cook a nice dinner for me since they know I don't like to go out that much.

Happy birthday! I'm sorry it's a little bit late now!:) I always celebrate it with my parents. But when I came into the university, it changed a lot because my roommates of our dorm celebrated it for me every year. We celebrate for each one of the dorm as their birthday coming. Now, I'm still a university student. After three months, I'll be 21 and I've longed for the moment how they'll celebrate for me.:) Have a nice day! ^_^

hi mary i don't think happiness is a companion of money. we need not spend too much on a party to make it really huge so that it can give us happy memories. thanks for responding god bless

Of course I do and I strive to share it with whomever will party with me. Cake and ice cream and it is ok if there are no presents. Just getting together with folks to make some memories and share good times is a great birthday party for me to experience and enjoy. I am proud of every year that I live and am curious as just to how many I will finally end up living to.

i do not really see a point of celebrating my birthday. my kids are the ones who go into the intricacies of preparing some food. since i have this experience of guests coming in as they tend to remember the occasion, i have found it necessary to prepare some food, just in case some friends suddenly pops up.

I am not sure if you would call this a celebration but I do get together with close friends on my birthday. We normally just pig out on a meal and chat over it. It's a very hush-hush affair and just a little get-together.

Happy birthday!!! It was your sweetseventeen. Sorry it's late, but Happy birthday!!! I celebrated my sweetseventeen in hostel. At midnight, I pray to Jesus and said thank cause His Great Love. last Wednesday, I am 30. I calabrated with my staff in my office. Lunch together. But, actually the celebration started at midnight, 24 o'clock, 29th May. I pray to God, my fiancee pray for me too and she said, "Happy Birthday" by phone. I am happy?
