Hi everyone. Just thought I'd let you know there is an opportunity for people to vote for the "New" 7 Wonders of the world. Just go to this website: http://www.new7wonders.com/index.php Click the option "vote online", then "Register and Vote". With this option, you have to vote for 7 (exactly) of these wonders which are your favourites. It's important to note that for your vote to count, you will be sent a confirmation email. You must then click the link in the email and then give a few details (you don't have to give your phone number). Then your vote will be counted. It will be interesting to see what people from all over the world voted for - we will find out in about a month!

I did vote for this a couple months ago when I heard about it online. Of course, the original 7 wonders of the world cannot really be replaced, but it is a fun thing to vote on. Good for you, for sharing this fun opportunity with others. : )

I noticed the Gardens of Babylon aren't there anymore - I guess it's because they acually don't exist anymore.

that's really nice of you providing this link. I voted for Acropolis, statue of Jesus, Kremlin, Angkor temple, Maccu Picchu, Castle in Germany and Sidney opera. I think the last one is already well known around the world. I've never been there but if someone shows me the picture I can tell where it is.

I really like the Angkor temple, it's very famous in Asia. I think most of what I voted are well known already.

Good morning Urbangirl, Thanks for sharing this info. I had not heard about it prior to your post. And, I think it's really cool that 'we' get to choose. So many marvels to choose from! Like you, I will be curious to see who the winners ultimately are, and how many people voted.

Oh, I already did that! I forgot which ones I voted though. I think I voted for the Pyramids, and Taj Mahal, I forgot the other five. It's fun, I'm excited to see who wins and see history be made.
