We recently subscribed to Vonage phone service. For those of you who are not aware, Vonage is the leader in VOiP service. That is an acronym for internet phone service. As we were becoming increasingly frustrated with our dealings with our local area phone service provider, and they were the only ones providing land line service in our area we finally made the decision to try Vonage. After a rather long trial period (2 months) we figured it was time to cut the life line with mother bell. We are on the internet via wireless internet connection and our bandwidth speeds vary greatly by the moment. We were not aware that this varience in broadband speed affected the quality of service from Vonage. What we don't know still, is if this broadband variance is greater due to being wireless, or would it be equally variable with DSL. Can anyone help us with this one?

I am a telcom consultant and i have steered customers away from Voange since they are the ma bell of voip in terms of pricing. Your bandwidth will be exactly the same with broadband and dsl because they are the same thing. Take a look at the cost savings on just one of my providers; www.IConnecthere.com/?honeycat 30 day try before you buy, and low rates.
