I have just discovered them listening on the radio to their song and now I cannot help singing it to me or listening it again and again..How to save a life..I love this song..maybe because I lost many friends and so the song speaks of something I lived..and what about you? do you know the Fray? Do you like them? Are they popular in your country? In Italy this is their first known song!!

Happy Sunday Maribea,
I actually got to see them perform in Chicago. They are very down to earth and a bit comical. They are from Denver and were signed by Epic Records in 2004. The lead singer, Isaac Slade writes many of their songs and plays the piano. I heard that he wrote How to Save a Life about his estranged brother. It's a great song because it can be depicted in many ways so that many people can relate to it. Their first video and song released is called Over My Head, which is also very good.

The artists have done their job in touching a chord in you and others. I too enjoy the song, however for how it is put together and the ability to understand the words. I hope they are around for a while and that many songs achieve this level of notoriaty. Sorry for your loss.

I think this song was written for Grey's Anatomy. I don't watch TV, but many people love Grey's Anatomy series...
As far as lyrics, yes lyrics are very emotional...

thanks for the link..so now I know how they look like!!! you're right. I was told that the song was in that TV serie. I have never watched it but here in Italy is very popular and i like this song very much..during these days it is in my ipod so I am listening to it whenever I can..it is just part of my personal soundtrack!!!
