Survey: Do you buy branded things or go for the generic cheaper things?

I just wana know if how many people out there who prefer buying branded clothes and stuffs rather than buying the cheaper kinds in the market. Like will you buy lacoste branded shirts that costs hundred of dollars against an old navy shirt? Do you go to flea markets or shopping malls?

For apparels, I usually buy good quality merchandize that last and have good stitching. Since these are usually branded, then yes, I prefer to buy branded clothes and shoes. I don't go for the very expensive brands though. I find that moderate priced brands are of quite good quality nowadays. I also do buy things from flea markets also, but they are usually not clothes.

same here. i buy branded ones (not the expensive ones), at least i can be assured of the quality. and if they are expensive, ill wait for them to go on sale!

i preferred to buy both... hey, i feel crisis too! have to be practical, and come on it doesn't really matter anywy how much you're wearing as long as your in a good taste in style and knows how to carry it why not ramp it? 'UK' is in vogue anyway... to be a bit classy having 'UK' stuff then buy some in abroad (hongkong, bangkok and all d kokokok hehe)like lots of botique's secret now.. funny ayt?!?! :D like whati have read in do's and don't from one of my mags there's saying that wear havianas than havana or other not on the list flip-flops on the beach... DUH?!?! i must say havana is for bathroom only but u can also wear some kikay flip-flops on the beach like i did..i wear my native beach slippers with shells and beads on it then wear my havianas at the beach party... mix n play is what the fashions means for me...

i normally buy branded things and some normal things and i always shop in shopping malls, theres are lot of opputunities now a days

I personally cant see the point in spending loads of money on a branded item when usually it isnt any better than any other less priced item. I think a lot of people these days just think its cool to be seen to be wearing named items, but I would far rather buy a cheaper item and have some money left over for other things.
