What's your favorite pasttime on a rainy day? Are you shopping at the mall, curled up with a good book, relaxing in front of the tv or typing away on your pc? For me it's a combo of the tv and internet.

There's something very soothing about the sound of rain falling whether heavily or softly. I love to curl up with a good book, but I also love watching movies or perhaps shows we have taped. And of course I LOVE surfing the Net and answering emails - or answering MyLot questions :) It's too difficult a decision to make so I have to say it will depend onm the day, which book I'm reading or intend starting, and what's on TV!

on a rainy day, i just stay at home. cook my favorite food for the day. watch movies with my family. and spend lots of time in the internet especially here in myLot. plus, i also love to take lots of naps because it is cold and it makes me feel sleepy.... anne

Depending on my mood, I would either read a book, magazines or watch TV or movies on DVD or surf the net or catch up on writing assignments or just laze around the house! Usually it is something to do with being on computer!

oh, i don't like spicy foods. but just like you, i also cook a lot during rainy days. i feel hungry most of the time when it's raining. maybe because it's cold. i usually cook spaghetti, carbonara or rice and adobo when it's raining. good for the appetite... anne

Oooh, I love the rain! For me, whenever it starts raining, I feel like curling up in bed with a good book! It's like the best combination. Rain + book = heaven! (my heaven) =D

My first choice would be to be on the computer. But if it's thunder and lightning then I really shouldn't be on it. Then I would watch TV or read or if the kids are bored we would do some baking or play some games. It also depends on how the weather is affecting me physically. Lately I have been feeling pretty rotten so I don't do a whole lot.

I usually start huring a day or two before it rains. My body is better than knowing barometric pressure for that! I get that. It's nice staying in, especially with lightning and thunder!

If it's not raining too hard, I like to go for a walk in the rain. If it's too much I usually enjoy reading a book or coming to the computer. I'm not the biggest fan of TV, but if there's something interesting I might sit down and watch for a bit.

I understand that, tv is more background noise for me generally. Thanks for sharing.

Anything that doesn't require me to leave the house on a rainy day is a good thing. My first choice would be to stay in my pajamas and work on my computer for a while. I love to watch old movies and rainy days are perfect for that. I always keep a book around to read just in case of bad weather. All of these things make for a very relaxing, laid back day.

Hi, my favourite pastime on rainy days is usually reading a good book, or being creative, like sewing my husband or children Sweat Top Hoodies or Khakis or whatever they want, I'll give it a go on a rainy day, I could be here on mylot depends what mood the rain puts me in... I might feel like laying out a huge bed in the lounge and watching movies with my family all day... Really depends on the mood...
