I am a mom and I have beeen helping this friend of mine who is trying to get her nephews out of the system.
The mom is on drugs the dad was on drugs no place to stay but fighting an aunt who wants to help.
The mom and dad are really dumb because they are fighting each other on where the boys should go. I am totally pissed with both parents and my friend because instead of trying to get the boys out of the system they are arguing on who fault it is.
I just cried because no child should have to suffer because the parents are dumb to me.
Plus what they didn't tell the mom and dad is that they want to place the boys with someone who will adopt them,now what type of crap is that?
The parents don't even know who the foster mom is and have to be taken to a separate room where they can't see their children leave.
How and what are your thoughts and feeling on this?

It sounds as if the case may be worse then what they are actually saying. If the state is wanting to adopt the children out then it sounds as if the parents have lost there parental rights and are not fit to be parents. They may have already given them a chance to clean up and get there act together or they lose there kids forever. Normally they will place them with a family member if there is one that will take them, but if the aunt has contact with the parents the system probably felt the children weren't safe to be there.
I have known a few cases here where the parents didn't know who the foster parents were because it would put the children in danger. Visitation was supervised and held in a public place.
It is a sad situation, but the system will do what they want when they want. Sometimes it isn't always the right thing, but not much anyone can do about it.

If the aunt realy wants the kids then she would be offering them a permanent placement and tell the parents to back off then they could have the boys and the boys would be with someone they know as long as the aunt is clean

I think the best thing to do here is to let the boys go to a place that they would be loved and brought up right.
