Hey You!
If you are any good at designing greeting cards, why don't you try self-publishing some over at LuLu?
http://www.lulu.com
They will allow you to design and sell your creations right on the site for free... not only cards, but books, calendars, short stories, DVD's, CD's, whatever...
There is a built-in market at LuLu, so you can do it all, and set your own prices, too!
LuLu only takes a percentage when you make a sale, the buyers pay for everything...
Let's say that you manage to sell 1,000,000 greeting cards for $5.00 each, not bad... LuLu will only charge about 8%... fair enough?
Don't let your talent just sit there... put it to work for you amd your family! :)

People shop at LuLu all the time because it's the best place to get "new" authors creations, as I said... it's got a built-in market! :)

Oh,it's my fault.I am always a mystery lady.In China we say it PuKe cards. Here 54 pieces in a box.Maybe you have seen them on TV.They are usually used by the bet men.For me it's a brain game.We will have a race according to some rules. It is easy to play. Most people love it very much. One time,one,two,three...even ten people can play together. And a lot of ways to play it.The popular one is looking whose cards are first out off who will be the winner.Maybe i don't say it clearly.I have try my best.
Sorry.:(

I make my own cards for my daughter- I think it just makes them more special. I buy most other cards- Our Family dollar and dollar tree stores have cards for 2 for $1. I buy them there- They are cute- and I can't see spending alot on the card- I'd rather spend the money on a gift- I have a card organizer- so I always purchase a lot of them- I also have a stash at work- that way I don't miss a birthday!

In elementary school we used to make cards. But in general I buy them. There are so many out there that usually Ic an find the perfect one to fit the occasion with just te right words. I have a friend that makes her own homemade cards as a craft hobby. She puts them away for any and all occasions. They are very cute. They look proffesional. I think some people have that creative talent and others (like myself) lack that creativity. But whatever works.

I have done both but lately I have been buying them. My daughter-in-law usually makes hers. She has much more creative abilities than I do.
