They say that breakfast is the most important meal among the three: breakfast, lunch, dinner. But for me, it's not. I don't know with you.
Before, due to hecticness and morning rush, I tend to miss breakfast meals. And I eat a LOT during lunch and dinner. For me, it's exactly the opposite. Breakfast is the least important meal. Though now, I try to make sure that I eat breakfast too. And thank goodness I gained weight. I've been trying to gain weight ever since because I am under weight for my height. And now, breakfast is the solution for me. Yehey!
A lot of people are skipping breafast meals while some can't live without taking it. How about you? Which are you among the two?

I eat breakfast as long as I have time.because if I do not eat it,then I will feel so bad that I can not concentrate on my work.and I know not eating breakfast is bad to our body.

if we continuously fail to take breakfast, the first ill effect that we will get from the bad habit shall be, inexplainable headaches. next to this, we will feel all sorts of body pains occurring at mostly, the back and the stomach. this is the time when we will become easy prey for the onset of more serious health problems.

I used to never eat breakfast, I just have a hard time eating until I have been up for a few hours, but I recently started South Beach.
Now at the beginning of the week I make these egg cups that I can just heat up in the micro and eat in the car when I take my daughter to school.
Since started SB and eating in the morning I have lost around 14 lbs.
About 2 weeks ago I wasn't feeling good and stopped eating in the morning again, and stopped losing weight. I started eating breakfast again on Friday and have lost 2 lbs again.

I usually used to dkip breakfast and got into a habit of being able to survive on snacks and juices because I was always on the move. My first real meal used to a late lunch or early dinner.
This all changed when I developed an ulcer and wsa made to slow down. Now I try to get some breakfast even its as small as a bagel and juice.
You know what they say; Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

Breakfast is for sure the most important meal of the day as it gets your metabolism up and running but it is all to easy to skip i find too. When I get up in the mornings i like to get right into my days plans and alot of times forget. I do try to more often than not cause i am trying to eat right but it is hard to change some habits but i do find the days that i do stop to have a bit for breakfast my energy levels are alot better than the days i just skip it and i get alot more accomplished in shorter time too.

Hi, rojane. Way back in high school, I never use to eat breakfast, I think because I hated school, and eating used to make me feel ill. It has taken a lot of years to change my morning habits, most times I'd rather just start the day with a cup of tea or coffee, but actually force myself to have breakfast. I don't enjoy it, but at least I'm eating something in the morning!

I think if I have plenty of time to wake up,(and yes, I'm a grumpy morning person) I enjoy breakfast when I have it. If I have to eat in a hurry, after just getting up, that is a different story. Also, anything other than cereal goes down a lot better first thing in the morning.

That's good. I just realized that breakfast is indeed essential. I wasn't used to taking breakfast either. But I also practised the habit and now, I feel not complete if I don't take breakfast. It just takes a little of getting used to, muscare.
Cheers!

I don't skip breakfast as it is the most important meal of the day. Otherwise body tends to get starved and it also slows down metabolism and one can overweight. Moreover one tends to feel sluggish, lazy and tired easily during the day. I feel one should atleast eat a sandwich and drink glass of milk if one is in hurry.

I know its the wrong thing to do but I have to admit usually I skip it. I have very poor sleeping habits and am usually on the lacking sleep side so I would rather stay in bed an extra 30 minutes than to eat breakfast. I knwo its something I should probly make a habit of changing but just ahvent gotten around to it yet.

Eating breakfast seems to make the day go better for me. I need to eat protein at breakfast which and that keeps me from getting hungry again too soon. If I eat only carbs for breakfast I end up being hungry again within about an hour.
I am definitely one of those people who believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

In my case I cannot skip a meal since I am diabetic. If I do so I might collapse because my sugar levels might drop down. But then I could not eat more since if that would be the case my sugar levels might go up uncontrollable and I might meet the same fate collapsing from it. That is why every meal is important with me i cannot be hungry nor too full.
In your case your all right it seems that you are gaining that s good for you. But mind you to always eat in moderation as much as possible.

I usually don't eat breakfast unless I am making it for someone else in the house. It seems when I eat breakfast then I get hungier earlier in the day. If I get up and don't eat then I can go until about 2:00 without eating. But if i eat then i am hungry way earlier thatn that.
