Would you go to a male Gynocologist or OB GYN?

I recently had my yearly visit to the gyno, and was thinking about the type of gyno I prefer. I've always gone to women, so when they asked if I preferred a male or female doctor I said female. Unfortunatly, her rank and name was Major Johnson... I hope she gets promoted soon.
I don't think I would like going to a male gyno, but I would if he were my only choice. I know that some women prefer them.
My preference in a Gynocologist is an older women who seems like a bit of a hippie, and wears a lanyard or pin that says 'midwife'. What are your preferences?

It really doesn't matter to me because I dread it either way. But I guess if I had to choose, I would choose a woman. Most of the gynocologists around where I live are male, so its hard to get to see a female.

That's interesting because I would think that it's mostly women studying gynocology. I wonder why you're area has mostly men. I've lived in 3 different towns and this was the first time I had the option of a male gyno.
