i can't stand seeing 10 discussion on a row from the same person. it's like they didn't take time to say something meaningful or they don't really care what you'll have to say. they seem too in a hurry to make a few cents. it just bothers me when i go in an interest and on the first page all the discussions are written by the same person

YeS!! And, often when that is the case, if you look closely the discussions are copy/pasted ones! I saw some this morning in fact. A person had posted 20 discussions in a row, and they were ALL direct copy/pastes from an article at Wikipedia!! Each paragraph of the Wikipedia article had been made into a separate discussion at myLot! When I see numerous posts in a row by someone, I ususlly skip over them! A red flag goes up in my head. I don't want to lose points if/when the posts are removed!

That drives me crazy sometimes also. I get all of my friends discussions in my email inbox and I answer them all in a row but I have several from one person before I can ever get down the list to my next friend's discussions. I try to get through alot of them. I like to have alot of discussions to reply to so I just answer the ones I can and skip the others.

I've seen that a lot and I actually wonder how they are able to get 7 or 8 discussions up there in the space of a minute or two. It's just an example of someone who is just chasing the cash and isn't really interested in making any kind of valuable contribution to the Mylot community.

I do not have a problem with people posting tons of discussions. If I am interested in one or all the discussions I will post to them, if not I don't. There are people who like to start discussion on all types of discussions. We also all type and think differently. What may take you twenty minutes to think on may only take someone else two minutes. I do a lot of posting some days but then there are other days that I post one or two times. Just like children all learn at differnt levels we post at different levels. It is also a good thing that this site lets each of us be ourselves.

Thats what exactly I see in my email. I do open each one of them but I can't possibly answer to the same person as I have to divide my time with the rest of my friends. They put up a lot of discussions and expect you to response but I notice that they don't even response to my discussion.

I totally agree with you. When I see that one person has started many discussions in a row, I tend to just skip over them and don't participate in their discussions. I think that these people have not yet realized what mylot is all about. They don't realize that they are getting paid for Quality discussions, not just any discussion. Too bad that they can't focus their energy on replying to discussions.

Maybe they are like me. I don't post for awhile. And while I'm watching tv or reading magazines or watching the news, if something interesting strikes me, I take notes. When I have several things written down, I'll go and post them all. Then it might be a week or two before I post another discussion.

Discussions being written by the same person all in a row doesn't bother me,sometimes you have a list of things you want to talk about and they just happen to appear that way.....what does bother me though is when you are reading their discussions, and out of the 10,5 are all about the same thing, just worded differently....

I see it all the time and sometimes they are the same post or they are really short questions. It does irritate me and I tend to just stay away from them if they are going to do that because it's obvious that they are just trying to get people to respond to their discussions instead of actually having something to really say or to communicate and find real answers.

It's very annoying. Sometimes I cannot find anymore good topics to respond to because these people flood the first page. They think they could get more responses doing it that way.
