I have never been the member that gets a lot of friends requests here. But since I had been banned for almost a week I have been recieving them left and right. I can't figure out if it's maybe because of the friends discussions I've seen here about my being AWOL or what. I just added my 15th new friend since I returned yesterday and still have a few pending. Why is this? It seems wierd I get this many AFTER being banned and gone 6 1/2 days. Hmmmm? Just a little odd is all to me. Thanks to all those that have requested my friendship and that I have addwed. It's truely appreciated and generous.

I did not know that you where banned from mylot I did know that I have missed you. I guess people read your notice and wanted to be your friend. Oh well. Good luck and I am glad you are back.

sorry grandpa bob... i just need to ask to be sure... banned from what? myLot? and reasons are? i haven't been aware that there is such this like that here. so, i wanna be sure.
anyway, i am just great to know that you are finally back. i miss that avatar of yours starting new discussions with sense. hehe. and miss the responses you post which are obviously, with sense, too. plus, i am a dog lover and so, i always find myself smiling whenever i see your avatar with that dog of yours.

Yes I was banned for almost one week due to an investigation by mylot staff. I have been asked not to talk about details so that's all I can say other than I am back as things got cleared up by many of my friends here support and all. Buster thanks you also. Hee hee.

oh. i see. i had been here for 10 months and i never heard of someone being banned for some amount of time. gosh. you're the first on my list i guess. hehe. anyway, i am glad that you really did not transfer to other sites. you still stick to myLot. and glad that the ban is finally over. whew! that's a relief. i hate seeing and loosing myLot members who has sense here. take care grandpa Bob and take care of grandpa Bob Busty! ... anne

I seem to be on a cycle of friend requests myself this week. I am not nearly as overwhelmed as you are, just one or two new ones every day. Not all of them are new users, either. I thought that mine was because I have been posting to new discussions and to new user discussions and discussions with zero responses. I also flattered myself that it was because of my touching and meaningful discussions, LOL I do imagine you have become a myLot hero, with the notoriety of being laid off. You become a focus for everyone else's frustration.

heh, may be the reputation of a rebel makes you popular :-P Or just you got all the requests instead of receiving one or two daily. May be there is a period of activisation of the new members.Check your requests. How much of them are newbies? How much of them are from: Philipini, China,India and etc?
I hope of course that they will be real friends and not use you just because you are active and serious poster in MyLot.

Me? A rebel? Hahahahaha!!! Don't let my wife or daughter know this. I had 17 new requests when I finally got to log in yesterday. Then this morning there were 15 more requests. Guess I must be likeable or something then for real. I thouight this talk of me was all fluff talk. Who knows. Maybe it's true. But thanks for all support from all here.

Ah, It's always nice to see mylotters who are themselves because many other communities have people with gimmicks and It's hard to take part.

I dont understand why you were banned. I thought something was going on because I didnt see any discussions by you. Did they warn you? Im glad you got alot of new friends from it. Hey at least you got something out of it.LOL Now listen you stay put for now on. Your not allow to leave mylot.LOL

I did not hear a single thing from mylot staff till AFTER I had been reinstated. Can't mention anything along the lines of the reason I was banned either per mylots request.

After my posting about you have mylot problems, I've had a couple ppl tell me you weren't on their friend's list but they sought you out anyways for your great discussions and sense of humor, Grandpa Bob. I'm assuming that's where 2 of your recent friend's requests came from. Your just so popular here in mylot and is very much missed when you don't show yourself for more than a day, let alone 6 days. thanks to mylot and their overzealous temp. bans. :-)

I did not know you were banned. Nor that you were gone for awhiile. As I have been off and on myself. If I my ask...why were you banned? And how did you get your account back where you can post? I am glad you are making friends now. Hopefully you can get alot more.

I had a discussion explaining it all earlier but that's since been deleted. I have been asked by mylot not to discuss this any further. But I was gone nearly a week and with many letters to mylot from my friends here I have been reinstated. Thanks to all.

maybe you became a controversial figure all of a sudden because of that banning thing. those who have applied for friendship with you, are most probably trying to tell you that they care for you. they want you to stay around because, you are a friend to them. i have noticed myself that there are some people who are not in my friend's list and yet we have been having some exchanges in various discussions. they are friends to me alright, regardless of being in my friends list or not.

Thank you very much. From a few other of my discussions I have come to learn the valuable friends I have here. I've also learned that I am very well liked it. I thinks it's mostly the humorous side of me. I try not to be too serious abouit any matters and feel that humor always makes things seem less complicated. I do get serious when needed though as my friends here know all too well. Thanks again for being here.

Hi grandpa. After the "shock" you gave me as well as to other posters here, its not surprising that you have become the famous prodigal son of mylot, LOL! I also have a lot of new friend's request and majority of them are newbies. I will check on their activities and movements for a day before accepting any of them. Most the requests I've recieved recently have well over 500 posts and a lot over 1,000. That is what shocked me the most. But they're here now.
