okay, I found a documentary stating that there is no clear evidence that global warming is man made..
I had found information on this before but simply did not take it seriusly as i assumed that it was conservative/oil company paid research.. but this is not.
watch this video:video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4499562022478442170
and tell me what you think, is global warming man made?
i dont know what to think about this.. yet, however, i am leaning towards the "global warming is not man made" side, however, what do you think?

The amount of global warming that is actually caused by humans is such a small amount that it really doesn't make much of a difference. I we can take all the measures we want, and we cannot stop or slow down global warming. It is just a natural climate change.
Yesterday I actually spoke with someone from an environmental group and he confirmed this. He says that because there is no real proof that humans cause global warming, that his group is now focusing on cleaning up toxic dump sites instead.

Whether Global warming is man made or not its really not that question. It is what we do about global warming from now on which will decide our future as a human race. So the debate about whether man has contributed to global warming or not is an excuse for us to hurt our mother earth further. Protecting our environment, flora and fauna, moderating our usage of resources would only ensure a safe world for our kids for decades to come. So lets stop debating and start acting...

I think this debate over how much effect man-made pollutants have on the environment is kind of pointless. Even if it turns out that global warming is not affected by humans (which I believe it is despite what conservatives claim) isn't it better to descrease our pollution and find alternate fuel sources just in case? I would say if something as important as our environment and lives could be at risk... then it's better to be safe than sorry. Trying to blame everything on natural climate changes seems like an excuse to me to make no effort to find new power sources or stop polluting.

yes I've read about global warming being a Hoax, and I really don't know what to think... The world climate is never static. Its continually warming or cooling. I think we can be thankful its warming not cooling, Its hard to raise food on an Iceburg! They say the polar bears are in danger of exstinction. Could it be that they are over populated now and have eaten up all their food? The contradictions go on and on so what's a fellow to believe?

global warming is a fact man, the earth is getting warmer.. im just arguing that it is not the fault of man, it is the fault of the suns radiation, it has nothing to do with CO2..
the polar bears are still in danger.. and no, they were never over populated...
your reasoning behind it being a "hoax" is historical, is this how you base all your information on? i hope not..

So who is at fault? We should stop finger pointing and do something concrete instead, right?

Though God has made this universe perfect and all its components are working in tandem, no one disobeying HIM,however, man is always trying to harm ecological balance. Also GOD as asked us He is going to close down the whole universe at the time He has chosen, But as HE has made us best among all living creatures and has given us intellect and power to do what may be right or wrong. HE has reminded us if we do good deeds, we will enter in paradise and vice versa. TO PLANT TREES IS AMONG GOOD DEEDS, TO KEEP THE ATMOSPHERE CLEAN,DO NOT HARM INTERESTS OF OTHERS. So it is true man is trying a lot to make our planet a hell. Definitely man is responsible for global warming.

I think we could do a much better job at keeping our home (the Earth) clean and green.
The evidence as to the cause of our climate cahanging, seems more to do with solar output. That is why the climate on Mars is also changing right now and the planet Neptune is getting brighter.
As for Al Gore, what better way to get a lot of free press when you want to be the next king, err... president of the USA.

I beliver it as man made. Now a day it is being discussed a lot. General people still don't know how to contribute in this or what is their role. Did you really start to do something on this aspects.

Ok, for me, global warming is caused by overpollution of the atmosphere through emissions from factories, industries, vehicles, etc. This causes the thinning of the ozone layer which serves to protect the earth from the sun's heat. Now with the ozone layer almost depleted, we experience global warming like never before. In the final analysis, global warming is still caused by man's destructive activities. I'm interested to watch that video you're recommending...I'm sure I'd learn something from it. To say that global warming is a political hoax is just like saying that we don't need to be alarmed because anyway, there is really no global warming! That's truly unbelievable....

Is it the Global warming swindle documentary? It's actually well made and had me believe that global warming is not man made. However I found a PDF document online that points out many strange things about the people who spoke against the man made theory.
Now it seems that most of these guys are retired, linked to oilcompanies or where tricked by the filmmakers and quoted out of context.
Whatever the case is, I think that when you are polluting the earth as we do, it will cause a counterreaction. It's like hitting someone on the face, sooner are later that person will hit back it's only a matter of time.
Regardless of the fact if it's man made or not we should respect the environment more it will be beneficial to us all and certainly for our children and grandchildren.
As a second benefit it will make us independent from the Middle East and not using oil will dry up the funding for terrorism.
So eventhough I also think it's blown out of proportion there will be some truth in it and if that can help us to get cleaner cars I'm all for it. Sometimes we need to make financial sacrifices for the better of mankind.
