How many of your cell phones feature do you use?

Lately even the cheapest cell phones have tons of features and the only thing I ever use mine for is the phone.
Mine can take pictures, sent text and picture messages, download ringtones, games, bluetooth, and connect to the internet, and it has a calendar/alarm.
I've taken a few photos with the camera, but only because I wanted something other than the standard background. I don't even text message, because it isn't free with my plan (and honestly I don't see why you don't go ahead and call). I tried using the calendar, but it was cumbersome and annoying. I have used it as a travel alarm clock though. I am considering buying a bluetooth headset to use when I'm driving.

yup mine has a ton of features, although no blue tooth (yet). I text quite a bit cos my phone plan gives lots of free text msgs, and limited call time. so for a fixed monthly fee, I text and call as the plan allows for.
i used the calendar for reminders, adn the alarm is useful. i don't need a pda! my phone calendar function suffices!
i use the calculator function sometimes, and group my friends and family so they have different ring tones. i know exactly who is calling most of the time.
pardon my ignorance, but what does a bluetooth headset do? are all non-wired headsets bluetooth?

I think that all wireless headsets are bluetooth, but I could be wrong.
I noticed you are from singapore. I understand it is a different country, but my friend studied in Japan for awhile and mentioned that most people there just text on their cellphones instead of making calls. Maybe the way the phone plans are set up is similar.
Here many people (like myself) don't even have home phones because they can use their cell phones enough. I wonder why the large difference in phone plans between countries.

yup most young home owners here also don't own landlines. one thing about singapore mobile phone plans is that they don't have free incoming phone calls. that really irks me when someone calls me and its the wrong number they got!

I agree about having to pay for incoming phone calls, but I guess since they company doesn't know it was a wrong number they can't afford not to charge for that time. What really annoys me is having to pay for incoming text messages since texts are not included in my plan. I try to tell all my friends not to text me, but they forget or don't listen.

I don't use my mobile!
Geez, the last time I used was before my wife came to live with me. (which is over 3 years) Yeah I don't happen to use it due to never ringing anyone.
Not a phone person :)

My husband rarely makes calls with his, though occasionally gets phone calls. Once his service had been cut off for 5 days before he noticed. And he only noticed because I couldn't get a hold of him so I left a message at his office.

The brand of my cell phone is Motorola. It is not the latest one, but with all the features you mentioned. Since my office is near my home, so I hardly use it. If my friends or relatives want to contact me, they either can call me at work or my house. So I only use my cell phone when I am off or on leave.
Mainly I use 4 phone features. 1) Diary – I find it is very handy. I input all my plans and events so that it can remind me in advance. And I won’t duplicate the arrangements. 2) Taking photos and videos. Sometimes I like to take some special and meaningful pictures and videos and I can pass them to my computer. 3) Sending text message – I also have to pay for sending the message but the price is quite cheap, so I don’t mind use it. 4) Alarm clock – occasionally I will use it to remind me for something important.

I use almost all the features of my cell phone. I own a sony Ericsson P990i which is a PDA Smartphone. I used it for almost every activity of my day.
I use it for my daytoday activity tracking, scheduling, sending mms, sms, calling, browsing internet, connecting to Wi-Fi, Handwriting recognition for sms, camera for taking photographs, and much more. Since mine is PDA, Calendar features is just like in the Outlook and so very easy to use. Since I also have a Touchscreen, navigation is not at all a problem too.
