I have been to malaysia a couple of times but only in johor bahru and duty free.because it is near singapore, I had a chance of going there without spending much money.I also do not have ideas where to go and some of the taxi drivers cannot understand english well that's why I'm having a hard time roaming around. What other places can i see in malaysia aside from JB and KL?

Yes, the Petronas Twin Towers is in Kuala Lumpur. A few blocks across the Twin Towers is the Menara KL Tower. Both offers panaromic views of the city.
Also, if you are roaming the city, you should check out the capital city. Merdeka Square is classical!

You can go to twin tower, and you can go up until the bridge between the tower. Its really nice view there.
You can also go to penninsula, there you can see the entire city and they have binocular too in every angle of the building.
There also a chocolate factory close to twin tower, you can try chocolate for free there. It's really good.

There are some beautiful islands of the coastline. From Johor Bahru I caught a bus to Mersing. Then I got a boat over to the lovely tropical island. I loved seeing the golden sand beach and waving palm trees.
I liked visiting the larger island of Penang, where there is a stunning looking temple. It is a train journey up to Butterworth from Kuala Lumpur.
If I went back there I would like to see more islands off the coastline. Merlaka sounds like historical place that would be interesting to see. You could catch a bus there from Johor Bahru.
