There is a new thing in the dog world. People are doing DNA tests on their dogs to be sure they are what they are being sold as.
On the news the dog had been purchased as a aussie/poo..meaning it was suposed to be austrailian shepard and poodle..Well the dna showed none of either and the dog had been sold at a pet shop with papers stating what it was.
Are you wondering what you mutt is made of or is your purebred really a purebred?
What do you think?

I don't think I would Mom but then again if I was getting a dog I would probably go for a mongrel rather than a pedigree and wouldn't be paying hundreds of pounds anyway! lol I know some people like specific breeds of dogs and will pay inordinate amounts of money for them but I like a dog for its character and not it's breed. As to whether a purebred really is what the breeders and paers say , well there is a lot of money involved so I would always be wary unless it was from a reputed breeder! Love you , your grandaughter sends you big hugs and is a bit better again today! xxx

I'm glad she is better.Let me know when she is well enough to put her makeup on and get out again..te he...
I paid $900 for Echo and was never sorry for a minute. She was made of gold that little sweet dog.I had hoped to breed her and show her but illness got in the way.
She was very true to the breed so I think she was a purebred..Besides she had generations of show dogs to look at when picking her out.
I do so miss her!

Hey Mom I really do think Echo was a little treasure - she looked after you so well - who wouldn't love her! I didn't mean that ou shouldn't spend the money on a purebred , just that I wouldn't do it! I will let you know the minute she is up to mischief again! xxxx

I would DNA my dog because I would be sure he is purebred and It would be good when I want to sell him I think I would get a better money from him and I would ask for a DNA certificate before buy a purebred.
