Will the Paris Hilton fiasco have an effect on your staying at the Hilton Hotel?

Just wondering what the rest of you think about staying at the Hotel Hilton? I will certainly not stay at a Hilton Hotel now just out of principle! She has made a mockery of our judicial system and I don't want any of my money going in her pocket. Of course, I know that missing my few nights a year will certainly not leave her crying or without a drink for the evenign, but I sure will feel better boycotting the hotel!

No, but it will have an effect on me the next time I got to jail. I'll just weep and whine for 3 days and complain that I don't have my cell phone or my hair extensions until I'm blue in the face and then they'll send me home to my 42' flat screen my 2 computer office and 250 channels of satellite TV...what an absolute joke...oh my, the horror as she now has to spend 40 days confined to her parents mansion.

Oh inked, you left out that you'd refuse to eat the prison food until they bacame worried about you medically. I swear, when I read that this morning I wanted to absolutely throw up I was so disgusted. I get so *#(@*@ sick of the inequality in our judicial system.

I have not stayed in a Hilton and now I never plan to. I had thought of it in the future but I agree with you. Why put more money in her pockets when she abviously cares nothing about our justice system.

No. I could care less about Paris. It is the price of Hilton Hotels that will keep me away...lol. I have heard a new rumor that she will be Hillary's running mate to help increase publicity. lol. And as we know, all politicians are above the law, the same as Miss Hilton. It all fits together ....lol.

It sure will. I will not make her any richer by staying at any hotels owned by her family. She does not deserve any special treatment, she committed crimes and did not serve her full sentence. It is a shame just because her family has money that she gets this special treatment. What kind of a message is this sending?

yeah, I don't think I could ever afford to stay at a Hilton, lol. We're more of a Motel 8 or Holiday Inn Express kind of family.

I never have stayed there before, so it won't really matter to me at all. But, if you want to boycot, I will help I guess.

I don't associate the 2 with each other. Heck if I start boycotting bad behavior, I would stop watching all sports & everything else. I rarely go any place & doubt I would stay in a hilton hotel anyway.

Oh I love America but they do have a habit of making such fools of themselves in front of the rest of the world when it comes to their leagal system and clever and expensive lawyers. I mean if you have a stupid system then you can't blame people making use of it to their own advantage. The Hilton group employs thousands world wide and does a good job. I think it would be spiteful to boycott them for one of their lawyers doing a good job.

i will NEVER stay at a Hilton hotel in my life! i won't support that family no matter what. i think that twit Paris gets away with murder while good people who make one mistake get far worse. i know my personal boycott won't mean much, either...but if there are a lot of others who feel this way, too...then it will make a difference.

I am not even aware of the paris fiasco? we do not have television anymore, so I am lacking on some of the current events. We recently stayed at the Memphis Hilton, and it never even occured to me Hilton and Paris. isnt that odd I mean I know her wealth is related to the hilton hotel chain if someone were to ask me - but registering to stay there and my whole time there I never put the two together. It was an expensive hotel - but very very posh. I guess that is why there was no continental breakfast? my son said rich people would be offended to have a cont. breakfast offered. *shrug*

nope, it wont have any effect at all. i couldnt afford it before this, and even if i can afford i probably wont go there (yes, i am a *money-conservative* person). However, yhis whole deal shows AGAIN (after countless other times) the American judicidal system is better off with down-syndrome patients than their current staff (no offense to people with down-syndrome by the way).they screw up.....alot.......realy alot. And besides, how much does Paris herself have to do with the hotels? all she does is use the money to party, she has no effect whatsoever on any individual hotel.

I think the whole thing is a farse, why should she get away with it. I hope they mock her for this and everyone should boycott any magazine she features in. This would be worse for her as she lives for the publicity, obviously all the money she has and will have throughout her life has made her a sad person.

4 days is enough to change. We shouldn't hold it against her because she surely has learnt her lesson from the time she spent inside. Some take years to re-form but one party girl has 4 days and she's an example of them all. Now on a more later note.. I wouldn't use the hotel before so I won't start now. Shocking how rules apply for rich, famous and the norms. It's quite sad really :/ ~Joey

What gets me is why did they even bother to send her to prison in the first place. I don't think it is just her thats the problem. Most states say they are on this big drinking and driving crusade. They get these people for drinking and driving and fall short on the sentencing because the are full. She just happens to enjoy making a mockery of the judicial system. I wouldn't stay at the Hilton before this B.S happened. Now l wouldn't stay at the Hilton if they payed me.
