why do you need to remove friends in mylot?

I don't know if there are any disadvantages.. but I know there's a couple I want to remove but I can't figure out how. I think I may need 500 posts for that. But anyway, I want to remove them because they don't do anything here on myLot, so they're just taking up room and it kinda bugs me. Lol. There's also one guy whose discussions make no sense whatsoever and I have no idea why I added him in the first place. I'm starting to be more careful, and reading a bit in people's profiles before I accept. =)

I think some people are just too elitist. They want to make it something like if you are on my list, you are A+. Those not on my list are crap. But honestly, some people do that to keep things tidy. Having too many friends can mess up the "discussions my friends started" links, as well as the email notifications. This reason would be more legitimate.

I do not know why some people do that. I keep all my friends even if I don't get to even talk to them at all.

oh,i never remove my friends in mylot.i have some of them who never participate in the threads i've made,but i still can't erase them.i just have no heart to remove my friends eventhough i never met them :))
