What surprising things have you had your I.D. checked for?

Ever since big stores have added the I.D. check notice to certain scanned items I've been annoyed at some of the normal items that have set it off. It is a great tool for making sure kids can't buy cigarettes, alcohol, and R movies/games, but some of the things are unbelievable. In high school, I had difficulty buying spray paint, okay I guess I can understand that one. At college I discovered that you have to be 18 to buy white out. My husband found our that to buy an airbrush kit for painting model planes and cars you have to be 21. He was 20 and serving in the Air Force. Have you had any surprising I.D. checks in the store?
