All I can say is OUCH!!! I heard of the practice of binding the feet in some cultures, but had never seen any pictures (especially this close)....I cannot even imagine the pain!!!!! I will NEVER complain about my shoes being too tight again. Strange what some people will do isn't it? In some countries small feet are considered to be a sign of great beauty. What do you think of this,and would you ever cosider doing it to yourself? What are your thoughts on the Binding?

Its mere the FOOLNESS! Dont know why ppl have this kind of tendency, and why these ppl do such things... But I m really wondered with this pic u uploaded. Its really crazy to torture yourself like this.

ohh i know!! I cant getthrew my head why a woman would do this for beauty and shoes! Its just wrong to abuse your body like that in my opinion..but its not my culture so i cant judge i guess..

I think this is an awful thing to do to women and girls.It has to be very painful and very hard to walk.

it's so cruel and hideous. I believe that this culture was from china. apparently, all the girls have to bind their feet when they reach their teens (prob 14/15 years old-or might be younger) it was terrible...the reason they do that was because only those from middle class and above family will bound the feet of the girls, hoping that they will be married to a respectable family. And the men in those days apparently got turn on by a bound feet....totally weird!

I can't understand how someone can put themselves through that. I guess a lot of them don't have a choice because they are children and are told they have to do this. It looks very painful though.

Hehe... Yeah I think I'll be the same.. Never complaining again about this and no I wouldn't consider doing it. Although I think a pair of new shoes would be good. ;) ~Joey

Yeah, I wouldn't go that far at all. I do not think I like to feel any kind of pain and especially the binding of feet one. Ouch, indeed!!!
