I don't know if this is the reason, but I've heard that if your discussion gets removed (or if you respond to a discussion that gets removed) any points you earned from it decrease. I don't know if that's what happened to you, a jump from $10.50 to $9.30 is quite big.
I guess if anything you can message the myLot admins and see if it was an error or a glitch. I hear it happens a lot around here! Good luck. =)

Haha! Aw, no wonder. That amount makes a lot more sense though - maybe you got some + for that response! Sad that it got deleted, I don't know if that's ever happened to me. I'm sure it probably has, I just don't notice it!

I have an oopssyyyy I must of had a dislexic moment when i postd the disscusion I went from like 10.50 down to 9.86 instead of 9.36 but it still seems like an awefull lot to me. I know you cant get rich on here but it is something i do instead of just waisiting my time doing something that pays nothing, and i enjoy doing it.

At the end of every month MyLot have a housecleaning session. A lot of discussions get deleted and if you responded to those discussions, of course, your responses get deleted too, even if there was nothing wrong with the responses).
I'm afraid that that is just one of those things that we have to put up with. On the plus side, the money is redistributed, so you your earnings may go up as well as down.

Ha..I didn't know they did that. I suppose it's better to do it monthly then how they did it that first time....that was awful!! I remember it seemed for every 1 post you made, you lost 5-10 points. It'd be nicer if they did it at the beginning of the month though, at least that way if you were expecting a payout, then it dropped like what happened to Tina, then you'd know ahead of time to make up the difference.

That sounds likea very large decrease to me. As others have stated, if your discussion or a discussion you respond to gets deleted then you lose those earnings. Was there a discussion that you posted multiple responses to? Or perhaps you responded to a bunch of posts from one person and maybe they got kicked off of Mylot? That's the only thing I can think of. My earnings dropped by 16 cents overnight and I was very annoyed because I'm very careful and only respond to appropriate discussions.

Wow, that's a lot, Tina! You said you don't think you replied to any discussions that could be deleted, so it's really strange.
I try to avoid polemical issues, like racism or any type of prejudiced stuff. I've once someone complaining about losing money for being Jewish and replying (to defend himself, of course) to discussions about antisemitism. Even if he wasn't doing anything wrong, the discussions got entirely deleted.
But if you only replied to "light" stuff, then I think there's some sort of mistake. Good luck!
