Think about your fears. Make a list of your Top 5 fears.
Are they realistic? Are they preventing you from being happy? What would happen if you didn't worry aboput them anymore?
My top 5 fears would be? (which are really more concerns than actual feears)
1. Fear of a loved one dieing, specifically my daughter or husband.
2. Not have enough money to live comfortably when we retire.
3. Something bad happening to my cats.
4. Spiders.
5.I fear for my parents health.
* Some of my fears (or concerns) are not particularly realistic. When my husband died when I was 37 years, I feared death of another partner, for a long time, & I feared that my daughter would have inherited his cancer gene. I have decided to not find out the latter, as ignorance can help stem my fears.

You make a very good point Jenny. I do believe that our fears can often prevent us from enjoying what we actually have. To put these fears out of our minds is the biggest favour that we can do for ourselves. I would have to say my top fears are the following:
1. Fear of losing loved one (same as yours)
2. Fear of losing my job and not being able to support my loved ones
3. Ridiculous fear of heights
4. Fear of snakes
5. Fear of the unknown
cheers :)

My top fear is my husband passing away before we have a chance to travel. We would like to visit Germany, Ireland, Holland and several other countries.
My one animal fear that causes me to back up are snakes and I realize this fear isn't going away, but I do move tree parts carefully. I have held a large snake to try getting over the fear of my friends pet snake, but its not working.
My husbands parents have passed away. I worry that my parents are getting up in age now. They are healthy and doing well, so this really shouldn't be a fear.
I fear that my oldest daughter won't come home alive, as several local people have lost love ones that were killed in Iraq. I'm aware there is nothing I can do for my daughter, but pray for all of the people over there and other places.
My last fear is about our food. There has been so many recalls in the United States. Right now, people are afraid to eat beef, as my local store just recalled a lot of beef. Its hard to know what to eat anymore.

While I try to give my fears to God, these are the ones I would call my top five fears:
1. How my mom will react when her parents die.
2. My dad's health.
3. How I'm going to make it financially.
4. That I will never be even semi-well again.
5. That I will never become the person I was meant to be.

To answer your question yeah I do have some fears or I would say my phobias. My top 5 phobias:
1.) Fear of height. I feel dizzy when looking down and I feel like I am going to fall down
2.) Fear of snakes, spiders, scary bugs
3.) Fear of not having enough money to cover my expenses
4.) Fear of a very fast acceleration in the car or driving at high speeds
5.) Fear of losing someone I love.

My top fear would be losing one of my children or family members.
The second would be that I would die an early age. I would love to live to be 100.
Third, would be World war. With the world as it is today, you never know.
The fourth would be living life without companionship. I have seen many people who live lonely lives with little contact with family or friends.
The fifth would be dying of an excrutiatingly painful disease.

Number one on my list, as many other people have is losing a loved one, especially any of my children.
Number two would be having a stroke or heart attack. Heart disease has taken it's toll on my family.
Three would be breaking a hip, or my back due to oseoporosis. I would hate to be disabled, even for a short time.
Four is driving on icy roads. It's dangerous and I hate it. It gets harder to do every year.
Five is being eaten by a bear. It's unlikely to happen, but once when we were in Canada, I wanted to sleep outside in my sleeping bag. My husband told me it wasn't a good idea because there were bears in the area. That made me change my mind quick.
