Was it important to you to be popular in high school?
Did you have a lot of friends?
Did you get along with everyone?
I was not popular in high school. I was friends with alot of people who were not in school, they were older then me.
I didn't care of popularity when I was in school.
I got along with everyone, everyone got along with me, but I was a shy girl.
I was usually the quiet one without much to say.
So, how about you?
Were you popular in high school?
Was it important to you?

I never much cared if I was popular in high school. I didn't go out of my way to be popular and didn't hang out with any popular groups.
I must have been a little more popular than I realized because after high school people would stop me in the grocery store to say hi and tell me "We went to high school together!" and I had no clue who they were. I found it curious that they would act like we were best friends!
I'm going to my 30th class reunion in a few weeks. I've never gone to one of my reunions before so this ought to be interesting seeing all these people after 30 yrs!

In 9th grade I got picked on alot, 10th grade I was a geek, and 11th-12th my popularity shot up because even though I was a geek, I played sports and learned to get along with everyone.

Hi Jen. Yes, I was very popular in high school. I never set out to be, I was just well-liked. I got along with just about everyone, but there were four of us girls who always hung out together. Being popular was not important to me. I just wanted the respect of my friends and teachers.

I guess I was popular in high school. I was on the football team and was one of the best players. I think all that tended to go to my head. As you get older you realize how little any of that stuff actually matters. I was popular, but at least I was quiet and not conceited. I don't think I could live with myself now if I had been.
cheers,

popularity should never get into our heads. it will make us too confident and might pull us down. it's just great to feel that people know us and admire us because of our talents. that's just it. there's nothing to really feel too proud and loud about... anne

Oh!! you bet I was famous and loved.Me and my gang used to do all kinds of crazy stuff in school and not to mention girls loved it.They always preferred spending time with us.We would steal lunch boxes and start eating in between the lectures make funny sounds.Once my gf in school told me she hated this particular professor's lecture and she'd rather spend time with the gang on the back bench and I put some itching powder on the door and the poor professor had to leave school urgently..LOL.But those were the days you cannot forget,I have still been able to be in contact with them and love all the attention we still get when we come together!!

I am also like you, i am a shy girl during high school days, for this reason i am not popular but i got few friends of mine which i still have communication til now. I don't care much about popularity, but i do care of my performance in school and be seen as a nice classmate.

I was a shadow. People didn't really notice if I was there or not. I had a group of four or five friends I spent time with everyday, but after awhile even they moved on and we all drifted for awhile. It was hard to get through, but I got used to it - so, now, when I'm alone it doesn't bother me and I don't have that feeling that something's missing from my life. It was never really there to begin with.

I'm a popular student during my highschool even though i dont want to..
well, popularity isn't that important.. many people would juz envy and hate you if they feel your a bit superior than them.. also, if they got that certain feeling.. they would always pull you down juz to mess the hell up and you gotta do nothing but to be StroNg!

I never really considered myself popular at school even though I did have a lot of friends. My twin sister and I were well known for our sporting achievements (in fact our whole family was - 3 brothers) and somehow we got a lot of respect from other students. What mattered to me was being myself and if people liked me then ok, if they didn't then that was fine also.
