I am not, but i know that millions of people are. As a result, there is a whole universe of spells, amulets etc to fight and or feed those superstitions. Are you superstitious? can you explain in what does your personal superstition consist? Do you think that superstition is just an irrational baseless feeling or that it's reasonable and logical?

So you don't consider yourself superstitious but you consider yourself religious then. That's cool add, thank you for replying.

Not really.
Although I believe that all of us show some signs of superstition one time or other, and all of us have at least one or two thing that are rooted in some form of superstition.
For example I tend to avoid celebrating a birthday before the actual birthday date, and I often knock on wood LOL
superstitions are deep rooted and are often about things that we have heard since kids.
Sometimes when things go wrong, or life is hard, people feel a bit more comforted by blaming it on something that is supernatural, something beyond their control.
After a few things going wrong, when something goes right, it is also usual for people to believe it happened right this time because of something "supernatural" something they did that helped things go right this time.
Is it logical? Not really, but most people are not logical:)

Mind you arka, you ARE superstitious LOL. Maybe not too much, but a little bit. I hate it when people tell me things like " if something happened to me i'd...." because they say it brings bad luck. I always tell them it's like self suggestion. So it doesn't affect me at all. I didn't know about celebrating your birthday before the actual date, had never heard about it. Thanks for the answer hon.

you shouldn't hate people so easily coolgeth, just an advice. I am not particularly superstitious myself, but i don't judge those who are just for being so, unless those superstitions lead them to hurt others. Tolerance is as important as rationality.

No, I am a believer of Christ, I am not superstitious.
There are millions of superstitious beliefs in our country. It started from the nomads time. It was passed on to the generations to the next generations.
Some of them are irrelevant. Although some are reasonable.
One example:
NOT SLEEPING WITH WET HAIR, CAN CAUSE BLINDNESS

I don't believe in Superstitious. I view every aspect in scientific view.
Although my parents are still superstitious,I find myself in a difficult position in arguing them
for showing ignorance in the laws of nature.
I think no matter which part of the world you tour, you will find the natives nurturing certain beliefs and superstitions and my dwelling place is no exception in this case.
Though our society is fast progressing, there are many people who are still superstitious and have a strong faith in the local beliefs. While some of them are quite hilarious, few others are really interesting,
as many aspects of life are linked to them.
Few beliefs even find their way into the religious texts and scriptures.
