Fathers need to show maturity in handling their kids. Teach your children love and they will love you in return.

This is something I do with my sons, we both love each other very much. and almost have a friend like relationship. We can always come to one another when we have a problem and get to do lots of things together like play games go golfing or to the movies.

Everyone knows the only way for kids to learn love is by beating it into them. Without a reference to pain how would they understand compassion? Seriously, though, too often I see parents telling their kids "what" and never "why". Kids respond very well if you can tell them why they should or should not do something, in my experience (not a father).

Children are great observers. At home the parents should not quarrel in front of the chilodren, for it will have some psychological problem. As you said love begets love and it is not only fathers but also mothers should participate in creating a congenial atmosphere for children to grow.

You are right. Children's nature itself is observing and learning. If parents show love and affection, they will also do the same thing. If parents show hatred and abuse, tomorrow the child also is going to reciprocate the same thing. Treat the child as God's gift and shower full affection on him. He will also be an embodiment of love and concern for you.

I agree with you. I believed that whoever did not love his children will not be loved. And whatever we give, as a father, we will get back. Good luck to you new member. Dont hesitate to read tips on how to excel in MyLot at www.money20.blogspot.com !

Love is the answer. Children become what they see and experience.
