taiguy Excellent response. I think the essense here is anti-monolopy laws ensuring the corporation does not extend to a 'non-competitive' state where it will prevent any new business of similiar types from being introduced into the economy.

taiguy I have an odd pattern of cutting my pony tail every eight years. It started when my baby sitter cut off my butt-length hair when I was eight. I tend to trim the "top" of my head every few months, which usually gives me a good mullet look for about a month....

I tend to get a phantom cell phone vibration as I carry my phone on my left pants pocket. It happens more often when I am listening to music (the bass vibration). Does anyone else tend to get these alot?

taiguy Yah, it does not happen to me nearly as much as it used to. When I first got my cell phone it happened so much that I just started ignoring my phone whether it was really buzzing or not.

taiguy Keep in mind XP is going to be faster, i.e. will process games better. Also a little less flakey in the drivers area.

taiguy Linux is just as easy to use as Windows these days -- providing you are actually a little computer savvy. Everything now is all GUI based (egh), but you can still pop a command-line window and do stuff that way. I think it's still a little more for programmers...

taiguy Doesn't sound too far off. Took me a couple weeks to setup a modem in linux the first time I used it. Modems are tricky because they are all "WinModems" which don't use standard IRQ functionality so it's not neccessarily all linux's fault. On the good side...

taiguy It has come a long way since then. I am not currently using it myself, but I have several friends who do use it. They have reportedly been able to play WoW, install DirectX 9.0, and similiar 'advanced' software.
