I don't usually.
Every once in a while I will remember to play but it's not anything I do regularly.
My father in law has his own special numbers and he can't even think about missing one day. He says that if one day he forgets to play his numbers and those numbers come out he will go crazy.
I don't want to have that kind of pressure in my life. The odds of wining the lottery are huge and although it can happen to anyone - as long as they play - it just isn't something that I can see happening to me LOL
How about you? Do you play regularly? DO yo spend a lot of money on lottery tickets? Do you believe you might win the big prize one day?

I do play it from time to time. Just buying a ticket now and then.
But you know what? I have not won a single cent from it before. Nothing. Never.
How motivating, wouldn't you agree? :P

Really motivating hehehe it's like me. I just buy every once in a while for some reason that I"m not even aware of LOL I guess I just pass by and something calls my attention to the tickets and I buy one.
I used to win small things like $5, or free tickets but lately not even that.

And if the queue is long, I will usually give it a miss.

Hello,arkaf61,i play lottery regularly, there are so many lotteries in australia, basically, you can have chance to be a millionaire everyday.Whenever there is big jackpot like 10 million,i will spend few dollars to buy few tickets,i will only buy the tickets of random numbers because i do not want to pick by myself.
I have only won 20 dollars or so,i have not earned any big money ,I hope i will win it this tuesday,it will be 20 million:P

I usually don't play regularly.
SOmetimes at work they keep talking about this big prize or jackpot and I sometimes buy a ticket but that's about it.
To be honest, lotteries are not my cup of tea. I don't even think that one only person should win millions and millions - as it happens many times.
I would probably would buy more often if the jackpots were smaller and there were more chances to win smaller prizes. I mean I don't really think I would want to win 20 million - what would I do with that? But I would be happy to win maybe 1 million.

No, I do not play the lottery. In my estimation, the odds are so small that winning is merely a fantasy.
Now, I do believe that if God wanted to, he could make my single lottery ticket a major winner. I'm just not convinced that is how he wants to provide my 'daily bread'.
Have a wonderful day.

I usually spend about £10 a week on the lottery which buys 10 lines, I have had so few wins, well certainly anything significant, I sometimes win back my stake, that I wonder if I wouldn't have been better off just putting the money into a savings account instead. However there is always that nagging feeling that 'this could be my week', it;s going to happen, the week you stop playing will be the week the numbers come up!

Well I don't play every week, but i play now and then. I play the football lottery sometimes, or the EuroMillions other times. This last one because the prizes are incredible. Wish i got one of those prizes....things would change a lot and i'd be able to fight with someone i know about who drove our McLaren.
What i don't like to play is the Christmas lottery, because the tickets are very expensive and the prizes are not that huge at all. But Christmas lottery is a huge tradition here in Spain.

We have the Christmas lottery in Portugal too - or had :)
EUromillions is really big too. I have some friends back home that don't miss it.
I can truly say that I wouldn't like to win all those many millions. I won't lie and say that I wouldn't like to win 1 or 2 million, but anything more than that is not necessarily what I would want and certainly not what I would need.
I"m the kind of person that doesn't believe that one person/family should have more than what they would use for the rest of their lives - which means that I don't agree with those huge salaries for all celebrities , sports players, CEO's etc etc...

Nope, I don't. I won't win. I never win. I used to be given those scratecher cards in birthday cards by a certain relative and I would nearl cry when I would see them. It is against the laws of probability, but I never even get so much as a 'try again with a free card' wins. It's very stragnge, and I gave up on tem long ago!

well i have never played the lottery before in my life because i believe its all luck and i don't have that kind of luck to win.
As you know more people do partake in the same lottery and the chances of getting picked out of so many of them makes me think its a waste of time for me to be involved in lottery, cause i don't think i can win

lately i have been playing every week or two but i never win, and i have never won before either. Sad to say. But as the saying goes- you gotta be in it to win it!

No, I never have done any kind of lottery. Not even the little scratch lotto tickets either. My hubby sums it up pretty well. If he was to do that, he would just have to consider the money spent as a donation. I can donate to better causes than that. I would not want a compulsion to play. I am addicted enough to myLot, and at least it does pay. I would never believe that I would win the big prize.

I do contribute to some causes when I can, and sometimes I do buy lottery tickets for things like the cancer society, heart and stroke foundation etc. I know I would probably not win anything but it's the cause that I am interested in.
Regular lotteries.. sometimes I do, but not regularly.

I've actually never bought a lottery ticket before. I've gotten some of those scratch off lottery tickets as little gifts from people before and won a little bit of money, but I'm not really that interested in playing it for the most part.

I don't play regularly, but occasionally I will pick up one of those scratch tickets and try my luck. Once I won $25, but I have definitely spent more than that in loser cards! I doubt I will ever win the big prize one day, but maybe a smaller prize, like $1000! We had a woman from my work win $25000 from a scratch ticket, and she bought it from the gas station that I buy most of mine from, so it is possible!

Back home once I won about $3000 but then again at that time I didn't really need money, had enough.
Now I could use some, but it seems it always comes to the ones that don't really need it LOL
OH well... occasionally I remember to try my luck, but the way things have been for me lately ... I don't think so hehe

I do not play the lottery regularly. I play it occasionally, especially when the amount is much higher. When i do play the lottery, I usually only get a couple of tickets at the most and up to five max. I try to avoid playing often since the chances of winning are very, very slim and do not want to blow my money on tickets. It seems that I was not meant to win anything in any type of lottery or drawing. I probably should not even play.

i only play lottery if i have extra money. it's not my priority anyway. but it's everybody' wish to take home the major prize but it seems it's difficult to get the correct and perfect combination of winning numbers.the philippine lottery is played daily and the minimum bet per ticket is only P10 or $.20 considerably very cheap. whether win or lose a percentage of the ticket price is donated to some health and sports programs of the government, scholarships to poor but deserving students, ambuilance services and many more.

Hi :-)
Well it's true what they say, You have to be in it to win it.
I don't play regularly but i get a few scratch off tickets here and there. I play the regular lotto every now and then when i have "a feeling". I've done this before with the pick 3 number games and won the first time i ever played because i just had these 3 numbers keep repeating in my head all day so i played them.
As for the scratch offs.. i once went crazy and bought $50 worth of tickets assuming i was bound to win SOMETHING. I did. i won a FREE ticket and $2.00. THEN another time i bought just ONE ticket and won $100 so go figure.

Sometimes but not regularly. I dont spend so much in lottery. I only spend a little that's if I have extra. I believe in luck. One example is my neighbor. He only bought one ticket and boom... he won =P
