well, Asus just introduced a new ultra portable laptop for only $200.
The laptop is so small and also cute. I have seen the picture of it with a digicam on the side. The laptop is user friendly too. The Eee PC is Windows XP compatible.
It has a built-in WLAN connectivity which allows users to stay connected for dynamic Internet usage.
It also has a built in webcam. the display is only 7". The Dimension & Weight: 22.5 x 16.5 x 2.1~3.5cm, 0.89kg which is cool right?
so, don't you wanna have one like this? me, I think I want to have one he he! It's cool! X)

it is true that the prices of laptop computers has considerably gone down. i hope that your parents will buy this model for you. it is really very handy and much cheaper than the ones around which are even much bigger and thus heavier and comes with much bulk.

This is quite a coincidence. I'm just talking with a friend here about laptop. I recently saw one at the mall, a SONY brand, and the features are unique and nice. Its quite expensive though. I think viewsonic and ASUS are the more popular brand here in our country now. Its more affordable and cheaper. I will take a look at the link you provided.

That laptop is very small and it weights not a lot either. I would love to get that one, but I already have a laptop, perhaps I will have to look into a small laptop like that in the future when my computer isn't working so good or something.

Laptop by itself is portable. If it is ultra portable and cost only $200, or is it a typo error? It is definitely a good bet. It is cool to have one since it is only $200. However, I would prefer the display to be bigger screen. A 7" display is definitely stresssful to my eyes. I am already finding a 14" display too small
for comfort.

I not too keen on that myself. It's like a phone, its good that its smaller and much more compact but once it reaches a certain level in size, it starts to become a hassle to even use properly. With the laptop, I like to have a reasonable screen size, this is particularly useful for browsing, and with a small screen and a reasonable font size, you will kill your hands having to constantly scroll across and down just to view a single page. But its great that technology is able to provide us with such a small and portable laptop.

isn't it that you are the person who featured the smallest digicam here? hehe. you love those small gadgets, don't you?
and wow! again, that's an amazing thing. i want to have that one as well. and just like the digicam, it's also really cheap. it's cute and very easy to bring along. with all those features, seems that it is worth the price. how i wish i could buy that one. maybe one day soon!

I find the desktop to be most comfortable. I don't even like a laptop because its small. Leave alone an ultra portable.

as much as i wanted to have one but practically can't have it because of financial constraints. it's not a priority this time even it costs cheaper. anyway i still make use of my desktop pc which is very much valuable to me for the past years. if someone will be giving it to me free then without second thoughts i would have grabbed it right away. it's my wish that i could have a laptop someday.

Yes it is super portable but if you're a heavy user, I think it is not advisable for it has no hard disk. But if it will be use for just e-mail and browsing, it is perfect. I like to have one. :-)

for those who can afford to have it immediately, this will be a great idea. as for me, since i have just acquired a new laptop to replace the old model toshiba, i cannot buy this item yet. but i admit that the price is very affordable. it is way much cheaper than the one i just got recently. maybe i will consider buying one within a year or two. that will also be good since they will keep on improving on the features of the item. it might get a little more picking up in terms of hte price but, that will be a more desirable scenario to be taking place.

yes the more years to come, the cooler it can be for a nice gadget. =)
