Do you think its safe to have your kids pictures on the web? I read an article about this and sometmes you have to wonder who really is looking at the pictures. Are the web sites, like snapfish safe to put our kids on there? I have a very limited anount on mine and i will rather share pictures of travel then my kids. What do you think of this? Are our kids safe to be online, on a family web site...........

I have pictures of my kids on my myspace account, but only my family and friends can see them. The general public cannot. I don't think it's wise to put pictures of your kids on websites with any other data, like where you live, what town, etc. It is a sad thing to say, but there are some really sick and twisted people out there in the world today.

I have picture of my kids on the web and I am very careful about what it is the background. I make sure there are no street sign or anything that would make it asy for some one to fine were we are at, unless they are vaction photos. It can be unsafe to have pictures of children on the web you just nevr know who is looking at them and for what reasons.

Most of what we put on the web is head shots. No biggy there I guess. I am not concerned about a whole lot since we communicate and know what we are doing most of the time. We share most things. Head shots would be my preference with general scenery for the vacation shots online. Stuff from a distance would the thing to do also. Good luck with this one.

That is something to think about. I would assume that it a picture site is legit and careful they would have a policy on this subject. I think they all should so that anyone who want to store or post pictures on these sites should have such information on their site.
