It helps to have health insurance because the cost of medical care is out of this world. The cost of the surgery I had in 3'07 amounted to more than $70,000 for a week's stay in the hospital plus the surgery. I'm so glad I have health insurance, there's no way I could have paid for this out of my pocket.
How about you? Do you have health insurance?

Yes I too have health insurance. The rising cost of going to doctor or having any kind of surgery is just outrageous. I had ear surgery in January and was only there for one day and I had to pay $1500 to hospital and $300 to doctor and that is just my part. I think they way overcharge because you have insurance anymore.

Oh yes! I am thankful that my husband and I have great insurance through Anthem. They're one of the best insurance companies around.
It pays to have good health insurance too though. Wal-Mart's insurance they offer sucks and it's almost as if you don't have it!
I'm glad that you've got good insurance :)

Yeah you would think that but their greedy bas*****. They'd rather their employees be on welfare and state insurance then pay decent wages with decent hours and decent health insurance.
When I stop working their I plan to only very RARELY shop there - only when I have too. I'd rather pay someone else's hirer prices then give them anymore of my money.

Yes- we have health insurance- It is expensive to pay the monthly premium - even with my workplace chipping in (part of benefits)- but I can't imagine not having it- Just like you said-- the cost of any medical procedure is outrageous- you'd go bankrupt if you got sick once. When accepting my job that was a huge decision maker for me- Good health insurance. I think it is important for all people to have insurance!

We don't have health insurance, and I know how expensive it can be. Especially as we get older and would need medical attention, more and more. But health insurance is very expensive in my country. Will have to wait a bit longer before we can afford it

It seems that the cost of health insurance is expensive regardless of where we live. I know that if it were not a benefit offerred by my employer, I couldn't afford it. Even though my employer contributes to the cost, it's still expensive. Stay well my friend and I hope you will somehow find away to get health insurance.

I don't currently have health insurance and it is hard. I am on disability and my medicare will start next month. But I've been living without insurance for a little while now, and medicine is not something that should be denied to anyone.

We do right now. But, when we had our own business we weren't able to pay the premiums except to get a major medical policy. I do wish it was more affordable for small businesses to get affordable health insurance. It is comforting to know you have it.
