Does the book of the month club still exist?

Just curious. I grew up with it and was wondering (especially for parents) if anyone knew if it was still around.

Yes it is! It is alive and well, but maybe not for long. I work for the company that owns it, and we were just recently taken over by the owner of BMG music. They've laid off 300 people just in the area where I work. I predict that the new owner will make the company that owns all the books clubs go bankrupt within a few years.
