When people have problems with others why do they so seldom talk to them?

This has been bugging me a bit lately...and I'm not exempt from it either...but why when he have issues/problems with others are we so willing to talk to everyone else about it except for the person we really need to discuss it (the person with whom we have the problem)?

Oh, yes. That happens a lot. Online and in real life. What comes from that is a lot of gossip, which can hurt a lot of people. I prefer to just have a personal discussion with the person. And if it is in person, it doesn't hurt to take a third party so they can be a witness as to what was really said.

A lot of people don't like confrontion or to make others feel bad, so its a touchy subject. People want to talk to other people about it to get it off their chest and maybe pick up a new perspective.

Most people are too immature to have a decent conversation with someone they have a problem with. I think it says how shallow the relationship is if you can't discuss things with one another. It's amazing how many lost friendships happen because of this.
