He's definetely the best player on the clay surface, but that doesn't mean that he's better than Roger. Roger is a better player overall; Nadal is a distant second. Other players are far from both of them, but that won't hold for long (IMHO). I can see a player like Djokovic competing for the top spots in the near future. He's just as talented as these players are. For now, however, Nadal is the king of clay, while Roger is the king of Tennis.

I agree that Roger is the king of Tennis now, but i think that the distance is shortening: Nadal has won Indian Wells this year, and he got to the Wimbledon finals last season. He is learning to be more agressive and run less after the ball in the rallies. I don't know if he will become an excellent grass player, but i can assure you that The distance between those two players will be shorter than it is now. Meanwhile, Federer is light years behind Nadal in clay.

Federer will never win the French Open as long as Nadal is playing. Nadal would be number one in the world if every court was clay.

I think Nadal is talented enough to learn other surfaces and eventually beat federer on hard court as well.
