One of my worst nightmares if finding a good fitting bra that is comfortable. If the fit isn't good, the comfort isn't there. I have found two bra manufacturers that have great bras that are comfortable and have great support. Here is a link to Aviana and Goddess. They advise on how to measure for a good fit.

I hate underwires, I always grab the scissors and remove them.

I'm a 38 DD and the only bras I've found that I really like are by Fredrick's of Hollywood. They're pretty, have great support and offer a great shape and lift.

I get Breezies from QVC. They are just so comfortable, the straps don't fall down, they don't get wet when it is hot and sticky (they are made of special fabric). I know this sounds dumb, but I get them to autoship a bra every 3 months, I can call and change size of color anytime I want and I am locked into the price.

When you find something that works, stick with it. I will check out the Breezies too!

hey cool, i'll have to go check those sites out. how are the prices? i've been having probs. plus i try to buy bras when they go to the clearance rack, then i can buy 4 vs. 1 at the same price. i used to buy all pretty, fun ones, but after i put on weight, it really IS more about the fit. i hate being itchy and not comfortable, or pulling at the straps constantly!

I have given up on walking into a store and finding one. I have had good luck with Goddess bras. Aviana has some really comfortable bras too, but they are a bit costly.

It really is impossible to find the right bra with all the features I like. And when you do find a decent one, they cost an arm and a leg. I will check out the websites you have listed, I haven't tried these manufacturers yet. Thanks!

Thanks for the info honey. I hate bras, and hate wearing them. I am not full figured, but, have big boobies. I go for demi bras with an underwire.

Even with the proper measurements, the style can vary and size differently.

Oh honey I haven't had a bra fit right since I got these things LOL. It's a major day of shopping "ALONE" when I have to find Bra's it so depressing not to be able to find really cute and sexy bra's just because your well endowed. 3" wide straps and 5 hooks in the back is not my idea of SEXY! Bleck. But... I had a wonderful semi-sexy very comfortable Bra that I bought for years that came in such pretty colors and of course what happened? YUP they discontinued it this year. SO to date I have probably spent $400 trying to find a Bra that fits and looks as nice as those did! It's a major undertaking that's for sure.
Now if you will excuse me I am off to those sites, with my fingers crossed! Thanks so much for the links.

How strange, I was only thinking today wether or not to make a post about bras. I have over a dozen and it seems like all at once I'm hitching up the shoulder straps. The cup part of the bra is in excellent shape but the elastic is wearing out, it's such a pain. Why is it happening to every bra I put on all of a sudden. So annoying. I'm pleased to have those links and I'll be sure to check them out. I just hope it's a site that deals internationally.
Thankyou

Thanks for the sites. I am full-figured and have always had a hard time finding a good fitting and support bra. I will check these two brands out. I also recent starting wearing the Cacique brand from Lane Bryant. I really love these. They give me very good support and are very comfortable.

i also have trouble finding a bra that is comfortable and fits my size when i am still a teenager... my mum has to accompany me to find the right one... at the end, i found one manufacturer with the perfect size for me and it is so comfortable to wear... so i stick with it until now...

I'm not full figured, but still have a tough time finding a good bra that fits. Thanks for the links. According to their directions (on both sites!) I've been wearing the right bra size, but the wrong cup size. Interesting? Next time I go shopping, I'll have to try the different size bra. Hopefully it will be a better fit? It is SO aggravating to be wearing an uncomfortable bra! Thanks for the links!

There was a show on Oprah about finding the right size bra. In fact, if you check out the Oprah show website and do a search for "bra", you'll come up with all sorts of results. All of the bras I've seen on the show are expensive; to me, at least. It was an interesting show though. Most of the women were wearing the wrong bra size, and what really got my interest was that they ended up with a smaller bra size, but usually much larger cup size. I think the whole idea is getting the right measurement in the right place. After watching that show, I started wearing my bras different, and using the hooks to shorten the band, and they are more comfortable that way. You could just get a tape measure and measure yourself according to the measurement guides. Or go to Penney's when they have one of those bra fitting events.
